Good comeback if I wasn't universally known as the best poster on here.

Not my words. The words of oldskyblue who looks up to me.

Anyone fancy a player called Cristiano Ronaldo to partner him in attack or be a back up, just been released from Manchester United. Heard he’s quite a promising young prospect, also seems to have the attitude issues Robins seems to like

Savage.

Would be hilarious if the whole football world just doesn’t touch him. Bet he ends up somewhere stupid like US or China for one last fat payday.

Think he’s had a palace like house built in Lisbon with a view to retiring there so wouldn’t be surprised if he sees his time out at Sporting.

In his interview with Piers Morgan it was said he turned down £340million for a two year deal in Saudi, that will probably have been tax free.

I'd like to think the sensible discussion with Vik and others, would be we aren't selling in January as we want to see if we can give it the push for Premier league with them. If we don't get up, then we will listen to all sensible offers (from premiership teams) in summer and wish them the best. Then we reinvest what we can, both players and facilities, and we go again.

I would love him to play for US, but I just don't think we can afford his wages.

I do think his best move would be to complete the season here, he's in the form of his life and it's pretty rare that a January signing goes straight in and hits the ground running

Imagine signing for somebody like Everton with the expectation? It'd ruin him if he didn't perform straight away

For clarification, he definitely doesn’t mean me…. Definitely !

I think if we don’t go up we should and good luck to the lad, he’s clearly above the level.
Fine with me, if we can secure him until the end of the season, with a new contract, and King gives Robins a little bit of cash in January, we have a good chance for Play Offs or even Automatic. If we don't do it Vik goes for minimum 20M in the summer and we can find a replacement, and fix other areas in the squad (CBs, GK etc).
