Had the kids badgering me for ages about it since we returned last season, lads just seen it, rings me, had to break his heart and say i cant afford £250. Especially 6 days before xmas

I dunno but i dont feel its right Especially in this current climate.

Well we're not Prem yet so I think it's pretty steep.
I guess there is a difference to where we were and are now.
But yeah quite a difference to find that compared to it not being a concern previously.

I’m afraid you can see the impact of the higher priced tickets on the take up so far. This game at the right price and ticket distribution even in midweek should have attracted 25k plus but I reckon it will be nearer to 20k now.

It was the last chance for my lad to as hes just turned 13 so no more JSB for him

Dont see why it cant be part of the JSB package.

Like yourself I always thought it was free for JSB members, £125 is a lot of money. It states on CCFC that City are the cheapest in the Championship.

Not one to moan too much but I was charged 15 quid to replace my piece of plastic season ticket on Saturday. Pretty sure my toddler daughter has launched it whilst thinking going throwing my wallet is the most fun she has ever had. Coming straight out of her pocket money.

You can see hopefully that it makes economic sense to retain them season to season if that's a genuine cost of replacement.
Although there have been occasion where it's happened.
Don't know how much a 4sq inch piece of plastic comes to or printing but equates to £15per hr for processor.

£125 is neither here or there in the bigger scheme of things to the club.

To families who are already struggling, but continue to invest in their football team it should be free.

Nope because unfortunately their costs are increasing and rather than footballers taking the hit, it's the normal people.

The club needs JSB's (and their attendant parent/guardian/responsible adult) more than it needs short term, non season ticket holders who are spending £125 for their little darling.



There's little benefit for a JSB member getting 3 tickets gratis.

Does seem short-sighted when having a kid as a mascot could result in a lifetime of tickets/shirts/merch.

I understand the club wanting and needing to make more money but given shit they fail to do like the issue with the club shops (and especially not opening it after games) it feels like they need to look at maximising other areas first before doing this.

Prem clubs charge and normally include a free kit etc too, but we never have before.

We were fortunate enough that my daughter was a mascot and tbh one of the best days of her (and my) life, even though we lost to Scunthorpe. She's an absolute city nut who wants nothing but ccfc stuff all the time (now 15) has countdowns to away games, knows more stats than I ever could, basically lives for the club. If a young supporter misses out on that because of finances it's a huge shame and a massive loss to the club.

I don't know if @Mild-Mannered Janitor still posts, but I'd be more than happy to use left over season ticket funding on this or contribute to a new JSB fund. Kids are the lifeblood and I know if it wasn't for my daughter I'd probably miss more games and Dad had basically had enough and would have given up when we went to Blues but continues to go still now.

When my lad did it in league two it was a dressing room visit and meet the players. Mark Robins took the time to meet the kids although I got the impression that that doesn't always happen, just depends how busy he is. Then you get the walk out and that. I got sent a bunch of photos from the day after.

I feel like a personalised kit should be provided and they get to keep it as a memento, signed by the players and a match programme.

I wouldnt go as much if it wasnt for the kids, the joy on their face when we score, a player waves at them, a chorus of a song reverberating round the stadium makes it worth it for me.

If i was trudging up alone or with a few mates i dont get the same excitement i used to when i was in my 20s.

Both of my have JSB ST's and that side of being a JSB is very worthwhile, but i cant help but feel that this decision, along with the fact you have to buy a full kit to even be considered takes the piss

Along with the JSB party seemingly gone down the swanny, and no more community day kids for a quid thing, it just feels like the club seemingly feel they've regained the lost young support from the ground shares and L2 plummet and think they dont have to do anything now

I assume its so Granny and Grandad could come along I assume is where the club have gone with it. May well not work out that way of course and the tickets may get wasted. Interesting that the majority of clubs seem to charge for this now. I'm in the mindset that is should be free and just drop the rest of the package. If granny and grandad want to come along they can pay.
