Pre-Fergy Old Trafford famous for success of course.

Oh no, they actually went through a huge trophy drought while the fans were being arseholes and preventing the players from expressing themselves. Funny that.
Actually the trophy drought ended when a manager famous for the hair dryer treatment took over!
Those precious little darlings who may of had trouble "expressing themselves" got fucked off.
And the "arshole fans" got the success they demanded.

Funny that.

You think booing from the crowd has the same affect as a manager's words. fucking hell.

Id take Cantwell all day long. Can’t seeing though
I can’t see it either but get him playing as he did eighteen months ago he’d fit our way of playing like a glove and could make us strong candidates second half of the season. I can’t remember is left or right sided.

In terms of footballing ability without a doubt.

If our new owner has cash I’d love to see us pick him up. I reckon anywhere between £500k-£1m would get him seeming as his contract expires at the end of season and he’s surplus to requirements

Much better option than Patterson, younger with a resale value and they know we either need to buy a CB or a striker/AM… he’d be the one I’d buy

Why do you have such a fetish with dick?

If you actually took the time to read my posts you'd clearly see that I had referenced pre Fergy Old Trafford, for its hostility to home players when things didn't go to plan.

Now please stop thinking about dicks, and try and keep up!
What's weird about with having a fetish for dicks or thinking about them?

You're flirting with homophobia here, so I'd go careful with how you phrase and say things.

Becasue as we all know, homophobia is small dick energy.

He’s apparently on 30k a week at Norwich. We won’t go anywhere near him.
When players are coming out of contract & go to a new club they get a signing on fee which gets wrapped into a wage package a “free” transfer isn’t that free.
To pay a fee and then pay something like £30k a week you are into the realms of £10/15million transfer fees + thats Premiership territory not championship level anymore.
So young talented players like Todd Cantwell often do very well coming out of contract, not heard anything about us being interested though other than snippets on here.

Just because somebody used to earn £30kpw doesn't mean they will earn £30kpw going forward.
They won’t not a straight wage, not at our level anyway, look at the recent relegated prem clubs including top of the league Burnley getting the high earners off their books asap, if West Brom don’t get promotion this season they are in deep poo-poo financially.

Scott Twine seems to be getting very little playing time at Burnley, could be an effective short term loan ‘stop gap’ if MR was looking for a goal scoring midfielder that can link the midfield and attack.

If we were to sign Cantwell, imagine the front three of him, Vik and Palmer. Then behind them a midfield of the double barrelled duo, Hamer and Sheaf, then a back three of Doyle, new CB and Rose. The only upgrades required on that would be Rose and Wilson, I rate Wilson but if we have the ability to get better, then we should

I read an article about young players who came through Premiership academy's. Often the their first contract is the best contract they get. They end up released at 21-23 and drop down the league's or become disillusioned with the game and leave it altogether. A number of the England U17 Squad that won the World Cup are currently without clubs.

Where has this Cantwell thing come from..? He isn’t coming here. Blackburn are believed to have offered £3m and it has been rejected. Come on, forget it and let’s discuss more realistic targets.
Its come from him being out of favour at Norwich and Robins praising him in the past, so could be a player Robins likes, then potentially Douggie could put his hands in his pockets and bring him in. Then obviously its just optimism

Reports say rangers are likely to buy him

But if he is talking to the likes of Rangers, his wages will be around 25k per week which he could easily get… +10k more than our highest earner

I can never understand this, I never liked Shipley as a player towards the end and I don't think much of Allen either as a player but only because how they perform for us and nothing to do with them as human beings! Booing your own players is just plain stupid, am I relieved when they go off ...yes but equally if they score I am happy so I sort of contradict myself but as pissed off as I am sometimes when we lose I have never booed our team or players.
I have only done it once....at Charlton away when we nearly went down to League 1 - they were a disgrace.
