How can a player who's a foot away from the ball not be interfering with play? What nonsense.
He went to play the ball and even faked to shoot/pass. How the fuck is that not interfering with play. And I'm sure his toe touched the ball

Interfering with play, no. Interfering with an opponent however, I've no idea how he wasn't. Pretty sure we've had goals disallowed for less

That's interfering with play in my book, the new rules may say its not but it's nonsense.
As Bill Shankly once said, 'if a players not interfering with play, he shouldn't be on the pitch!'

Interfering with play is to do with touching the ball. Interfering with an opponent would mean things like unsighting the keeper or getting in the opponent's way.

Interfering is interfering.
I understand initiatives to make the game a better spectale but that today was ridiculous.

A player who is a foot or two from the ball and occupying a defender cannot be deemed not to be interfering whether he touches the ball or not

The offside rule is probably the worst it's ever been. The amount of times I'm watching a game and shit like this happens is on the rise. The Salah goal in the FA cup was as much of a farce.

Toxic atmosphere at Goodison Park at the end but they did bring back some memories with a good old fashioned vitriolic chant of ‘Sack the board, Sack the board, Sack the board’.

They've gone full mental after the game at goodison

Got Yerry Mina out his car after surrounding it, then chased Anthony Gordon out of the gaff

Before the game their fans were outraged at the statement put out saying the board members couldn't attend the game due to safety concerns, saying it was all made up rubbish to make them look bad. The actions after the game would make it seem any threat was credible.

Man United winner was even worse. Rashford offside position tried to get back but still offside when he struck the ball. More clearcut than the first one but everyone seems preoccupied with that.

This pissing about at penalties needs to be clamped down on. Automatic yellow for the first player that does it, red for the next one
