It seems like the more and more safety measures they put in like closing blocks, netting and the fence the worse the problems get.

As if it's giving those wanting to act hard even more confidence to do so because they're nice and safe behind all those protective measures. Put the people they're trying to antagonise right next to them and most wouldn't say a word.

But you'd have to be a brave person to suggest less measures given the problems. And there'd still be a handful of coked up idiots stupid enough to carry on.

maybe they need to be lenient up until the point where someone causes trouble and absolutely throw the book at each and every one of them - fines, criminal conviction, jail and a lifetime ban. No exceptions.

I can't think of a major derby in the UK that has the levels of segregation we'll have for fixtures with no history of bother.
Itsabsolytely ridiculous.

I wonder if we as fans could petition the council on it? There’s got to be a better way that doesn’t involve killing all the atmosphere in the club.
this is something the supporters group, or whatever its called now, could do as I suspect it would need to come via the club as they will have people attending the SAG meetings.

the problem we might have is if anything costs money we're not going to pay for it and neither is Frasers. we also need supporters to start behaving so we can't have any suggestion immediately dismissed on the basis that there's trouble regularly

things like the dispersal plan at the end of games could really do with improvement but part of that is the layout of the ground and changing things will cost money, then you have things like traffic management which would involve a payment to the council which, as nothing like that has ever been implemented, I'd guess neither the club or stadium owners want to pay for

Thorough as always on the turnstiles. Did the motion with his hands up and down my person but made no contact. Made him do it again until I could feel his touch.

Might just be me but for some reason it Actually looks more full today than it has all season. Maybe because of half season ticket people? Who knows

Gimps on here making excuses for the club and their over the top safety measures hahahahaha

Do you think we’re the only club in the country with a lot of young fans who like a drink and other naughty stuff?

Photo from Doug's brother on twitter

So many empty seats. Made to look busier as people are standing.

A real shame compared to last season.

Then go in the posh seats opposite
loads of cokeheads sit in the boxes above us in block 2, but they are those posh sort of cokeheads that are older than 40 and have never gotten a grip.

But people want to sit in the corner and the club/safety team have stopped people from doing so.
got body searched at the turnstile today for about 3 minutes, waving a plastic beeping paddle at me asking 'lighter, phone, keys, lighter phone, keys' Never once checked the carrier bag in my hand that contained 4 grenades and a samurai. The whole set up of this club is a joke

Same, didn't check my bag but were keen to know what was under my hat.

They have been told they are on final warning. Old legion heads I believe. Too old for the naughty corner now.

Are you going to take drastic action and move to block 3 ?

Didn’t go today but I’ve noticed a few old heads coming into blocks 2 and 3 in other games. Don’t have a problem with it really.

Quiet as fuck today. If they are going to give it loads on here back it up.

Side note: Heading back over there next season
