Looking good so far ..... BUT if Everton come back with a last minute offer, we won't have time to get a replacement in!

Have in mind what MR said a month ago:

“Categorically, Vik is going nowhere in January”

(Or similar)

If a deal has been done that he’s off somewhere in the summer and pre-contract has been signed then that would make sense.

Maybe tied in with the SISU sale? £30m already agreed for Vik to go to (wherever).

We could do with getting Piers Morgan to tap some phones at CCFC.

I can’t believe how many people think that MR will get a lot of any VG cash to spend. Even with this size of windfall and perhaps more for Hamer/Sheaf/Ohare etc it would highly likely be the same old rebuild with Loans and freebies and kids from the Prem Clubs. King is a businessman not a sugar Daddy.
At some point to actually be successful you have to hold onto your best players where possible and improve on top of them…..Also a window of poor recruits and we are doomed.

Teams famously love letting £30million goalscorers stay somewhere else for the most important part of the season.

I have told you once and i am getting sick of this. Vik will be going to Burnley if they are promoted. We will sign the centre back we have on loan permanently and £15million on top. You see.

Defender Harry Souter from Stoke to Leicester for £15m + add ons. Decent player, but if he's worth that, then the top scorer in the league must be worth much more despite what I read on here.

Not only better and strikers harder to find, but up top on his own, his workrate and being our talisman and being 4 points from the play offs should factor in to an even greater number. If its less than £25m to £30m we'd be mad to let Vik go.

and if you factor in that Fulham was thinking of a swoop for Berge from Sheff utd for the sum of 20m plus add ons then Gyok is worth double that...PUSB

Is anyone really surprised their's no intrest, his form has "fallen off a cliff" no goals since Wrexham.

He'll be fine in the EPL.
The best 2 teams we played last year were Fulham and Southampton and he ran them ragged.

Gyokores stays, get he's head down and works hard keeps on scoring goals will increase his value.

Either way his value won’t be higher in the summer if anything with 12 months left it’s likely to be lower. Need a new contract sorted for the value to increase

Doug is working on it as we speak.
