Not sure how we are only 1-0 down after that awful first half performance ?
As others have said, WBA look a class above us...that's what premiership money and parachute payments do for you.
Even their bench looks pretty good.
WBA seems to just be able to carve their way through the middle or especially down that right flank...how is there so much space available ?
We need to improve 2nd half...if we don't, there will be more misery for us.

We tend to play like scared rabbits in headlights at the hawthorns in general .

We've maybe a couple of good results here at most in years ..

We simply HAVE to be better

We could play a lot better next half, but if they play the same, they could still win by 3. They really should have more than one goal - that first 15-20 minutes was like watching a boxer on the ropes. For me, it is because we have next to no control in the middle of the park (although credit to West Brom - they're playing really well). It's probably our toughest game between now and the end of the season, so I'm not too stressed about it. Panzo does have the look of an accident waiting to happen tonight, though.

They are a good side. We were lucky to get anything against them when we were on form. And now, we are not on good form. Just have to hope we snake a draw and that would be fantastic result.

Live footage of Bidwell trying to get over the halfway line.

I’ve seen pensioners in mobility scooters in Benidorm move quicker than bidwell and Allen tonight.

Difficult to tell on ifollow but wasn't their scorer offside?

McNally disappointing after Saturday. Bidwell very poor too.

I don't think we were lucky last time. The big difference is they can just bring in anyone they want on big wages and we lose O'Hare while having to scrabble around for cheap replacements.

Albrighton is premier league quality…Coffey and panzo out of position a lot. Doyle a little weak when pressured. Midfield working hard to to get ball …let alone use it.
At only 1 down you never know but I fear a long 45

They've certainly strengthened and we..... Think it's generous to say we are about the same. Wage budget is clearly king.

To be expected, when their squad cost 10 times the amount that ours did. We're doing ok though tbf.
We're doing OK? What game are you watching? We're not even doing the basics half decent. Most players are out of position. There's visibility little communication at the back.
BNC has been put in the deep end when he joined us and should not be playing this evening. Bidwell to drop into back 3 at expense of Panzo who looks lost atm. Burroughs and Eccles on for BNC and Panzo.
If Palmer continues to be too casual on the ball then put godden or maguire on.

Norton off - Eccles on
Allen off - Borroughs on
Panzo off - Maguire on

Move things around

Bidwell to LCB,
Borroughs to LWB but tight on Albrighton
Maguire just behind Vik

He hasn't lost the ball. Probably the only one. And he put it on a plate for Gyokeres. Not sure how he is the one people are criticising?

He’s rubbish, constantly unable to control the ball, never gets close to winning it, he’s played one decent pass all game where he was put in by Gus. He doesn’t lose the ball because the only passes he makes are five yard backwards balls. If he’s an attacking midfielder I’m shagging Kylie Minogue.

Yes teams have a financial advantage, I’m fed up of hearing it. This team at some point needs to learn to sock it to the opponent instead of rolling over at the first sniff of danger.
