Great 3 points!
Our defense was shambolic for parts in 2nd half and their goal was a gift from Hamer but WTF We won!

Great to get the 3 points, but not the greatest performance in the second half. Robins made the wrong sub, Godden should have come on for Palmer, Wilson-Esbrand offered absolutely nothing on or off the ball in his stint in midfield.

Criminal by Hamer at the end, making it much harder than it needed to be.

Thought Gus had a poor game, ridiculous pass for the second aside. Wilson, Allen, BNC all had good games. Worried about Palmer always seems to be something bad when a player just pulls up.

Games up to the break all seem winnable ignoring Preston being our bogey team.

Not the best we’ve played but deserved the win.

Got to give these young players time to settle in. You would think people learn from RNC but nope same thing will happen to JWE it seems lol

We don’t have time for them to settle in we’ve only 3 months and the seasons ended

Cuffey is trying his best but no one knows what he’s going to do. He’s like John Williams with no pace.

The points are all that matters, but thought (up until our superb 2nd) we could have no complaints if they had equalised.

First half we absolutely bullied them.

Gus was very good out of possesion, not so great in possesion. Great shift defensively, their goal aside.

hes still pretty erratic. He looks like an accident waiting to happen too much for me
First half he gave me the heeby-jeebies, kept getting beaten at will and looked a penalty waiting to happen.

I feel a bit sorry for JWE but he’s just not up to it - if palmer isn’t out we need to play godden
He just needs some game time, he has the talent, but was asked to come into a high tempo game and play out of position and found it hard to settle.

3 months is a long time in football. He won the ball and started the move for 2nd goal

BNC just looks very awkward going forward, its nothing flashy like Palmer but it works more often than not, JWE got more into the game when he got pushed back to LWB, I think a bit of time and he will prove to be a good rotation off the bench for Bidwell to offer something different. Palmer was very good before he came off, hope injury isnt too long Im guessing it’ll be 6-8 weeks but hoping its not that long. Godden looked good coming on, dont think he should start against Preston as they’re a physical side and he’s just come back from injury, think we should start with Allen and Gus in behind Vik with Eccles and Dabo in CM 😉

Understand he’s raw but BNC did get on my nerves a little bit. Countless time's they pinged the ball over to our right and he’s (again) so far out of position, right next to McNally. Jamie Allen eventually was playing as a second wing back.

Callum Doyle had his slow-mo pills this morning. Eccles looked out of his depth in first half but grew into it. JWE was too far off it.
