Im hearing Ashley as our owner is done and dusted and announced in the summer? If so, no deal required.
Yes yes, very good Ralph...I heard that Doug King and Mike Ashley were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me

Heard the same. Not claiming to be ITK but that's what I heard.
Could be absolute bollocks.
A fair few on here pretended to be ITK and said he’d be taking over before Christmas - it’s probably just nonsense.Makes no sense

Makes no sense
Sorry that’s what I meant. As things happen things may start to but at the moment it’s a wait and see. However for the Fraser group to have kept completely quiet seems very unlikelyNone of it makes very much sense
Apart from the club wouldn't actually own the stadium. If Ashley offers King more than he paid then he’s made a profit and reunited the club with the stadium again. It can make sense.
Is it?It’s bollox
No way it’s kept quietIs it?
How does it make sense for Ashley? If Ashley offers King more than he paid then he’s made a profit and reunited the club with the stadium again. It can make sense.
How does it make sense for Ashley?
How does it make sense for Ashley?
Why does it make sense for him to let someone else buy the club first and then sell it to him at a higher price?Get the club into the top flight and sell club and ground for a big profit
Why does it make sense for him to let someone else buy the club first and then sell it to him at a higher price?
Surely the question is how did king purchasing the club make sense when he hadn’t an agreement in place after May to
Play anywhere
Does he have to buy the debt now ?Why does it make sense for him to let someone else buy the club first and then sell it to him at a higher price?
Presumably? If not, why does the deal make sense for King?Does he have to buy the debt now ?

There's no incentive for Ashley to buy the club. He's in a win-win situation. If we don't go up anytime soon the stadium will still tick along making cash for him and if we do go up then he can either retain the stadium and make a lot more cash from the increased attendances/rent or cash in by selling it as a premier league stadium to whoever.
Can you image SISU investors if by some miracle, our form continued and we sneaked into and won the play offs.
King really would have pulled off the deal of the year/decade.
One thing I never even noticed is the accounts suggest we paid lease costs of £1.3m last season for playing at the Arena
Do we lease anything else?
Seems a huge figure for a licence given it’s the best deal ever according to Boddy - if the FG are looking to make this higher that’s a problem
Were we leasing Ryton off the owners?
i think there was a St Andrews penalty, that may have been includedpossibly but the total charge the prior year was £445k
