Decided to do one of these again:

Sheaf & JWB the best. Not sure why people say JWB 'grew' in confidence. I thought he had their RB right from the start. He was clearly our best out ball.

Godden: I give up. Tripe for large parts of the game, doesn't do the press we require, looked knackered soon after the start of the 2nd half....but then gets a goal out of nowt. The chance he missed at the end was quite tough.

Big Vik - too much narking at younger players like BNC to whom he should be a role model. He's a marked man now.

Back three all much shakier than previously. Callum Doyle also looked knackered. Surely MacFadz must be squad rather than 1st choice next season - see Michael Doyle in L1.

I admired Eccles' abilitity to keep going and those little flicks keep momentum going, but he was better when Palmer was the attacking midfielder imho.

Robins needs to work on shooting on target from just outside the box - extra homework for Sheaf, Hamer, Godden, Vik, Eccles.

I like our midfield individually but not sure as a three they are the answer, also not sure the answer is at the club, a fully fit rampant Palmer could be an answer his Regis type powerful bursts forwards are great but not consistent and has frustrating quiet moments during games and COH is a fingers crossed wait and see.

Between them all, midfield's not an issue for next season. If Hamer leaves he needs replacing, but otherwise we've got plenty of options when they're fit - it's the one area of the pitch we have competition.

The lack of a striker bar Godden, the lack of a CB bar McFadzean, the lack of a wing back bar Bidwell (who seems to be off, you'd think), and Wilson as sole keeper are far more pressing issues than midfield.

I think he's at his best with CoH on the pitch.
I think he actually needs a proper pairing. ironically we barely saw Walker and Godden together, as they were injured / ill separately during the first season, and Gyokeres has been fit and undroppable since... but our tactics this season have been give it to Gyokeres and hope he can sort out a defence, which leaves any other forward as a bit of a spare part really.

If we play one up front there's no real place for Godden. if we go two up front then he could well have a part to play next season... if we get a replacement for Gyokeres who suits him, anyway.

Yeah they were taking the piss.

I was astonished how they just fell to pieces as soon as they conceded a goal

You can see how little Robins has to play with for the remaining 5 games. With Allen, Tavares, O'Hare & Palmer all out we have no players that can play as support strikers, No 10's, wide forwards etc. McGuire seems to be just making up the numbers and will be off in May. I think it's almost certain we will move for Da Silva at Bristol come the summer and Bidwell will move on. However JWE is so poor defensively that we might be asking for trouble playing him at QPR and Blackburn.

Yep, no discipline. We could have easily got players sent off too.
Just before half time, I had no idea who the referee booked, he was waving his card around like a railway signalman.

I think those three are fine if we get Hamer playing slightly ahead of Eccles and Sheaf.
