Absolute madness opening block 4 and 5, literally within feet of Birmingham fans and not 13, which is still separated by a block of 1500 seats

Man City have a double line of stewards between home and away fans . 4 seats all the way up for separation. Depending on the expected away support this can be widened or shorten retrospective.
I don’t see why we can’t use this when required!
I was there a few years ago when Palace beat Man City 3-2. Was with the Palace fans right next to the Man City fans. The banter was great. Seemed like less than 4 rows but my memory isn't much good these days.

I think they've moved Birmingham fans into Block 12 and will have segregation in Block 13 and a big chunk in Block 6.

Otherwise it makes no sense.

While there are lots of anti-social kids in Block 14, the club are aware that there are a lot of old boys with seats/boxes near the away fans in the West Stand.

Clearly read the thread on here as they’ve commented and answered all the questions being raised lol

I know you’ve been critical of king - and I’ve no idea what the endgame is - but he’s clearly hands on and treating it like his business. The apathy from Sisu regarding commercial off field activity was totally exposed at this level. It’s encouraging on this aspect at least that he’s demanding solutions to what were ignored before.

If they were discussing 13 and 4/5 as options, they could presumably have opened up 13. So why haven’t they opened it up as well as 4/5?

Just bought one on the front row in block E. Will give my season ticket up for the mrs so she can sit with my dad and daughter and I'll be right behind Robbo to let him know what he's doing wrong and who he should bring on and when. If there are any messages from the forum, please post them up and I'll be sure to pass them on :)

While Block 13 had been included in discussions, however instead releasing Blocks 4 and 5 release more tickets.

Block 12 cannot be used – this is required for segregation and is part of the South Stand area. While in the past the South Stand concourse has been split, this was against Clubs with considerably smaller attendances and without the same factors involved in the fixture and without the necessity for comparable segregation and safety operations. (E.g. Gillingham bringing 495 in 2014 when part of the South Stand was used for home fans, or Crewe Alexandra bringing 1472 for the JPT Area Final)

Due to the limited availability, charity vouchers and Sky Blues in the Community vouchers are not redeemable.

The Club has thoroughly explored all possible avenues to open up any other areas with the Arena, and it is not possible to do so for safety and access reasons.

Therefore, once these tickets are sold the game will be sold-out - there will be no availability on the day.
Embarrassing.

What happened to the old boy who used to shout that at every away game? Not seen him all season, but might not even be with us any longer to be fair.

I think it's pretty clear that this is as much as they will release. Just have to accept it and have the debate about the south stand later I guess.

The fact we're getting 30K for a league game is reason to be very cheerful. We've had some dark times. Incredible turnaround.

Albeit it in lockdown but it's only 2 years since we were playing at St Andrews in front of nobody!
