It's never a bad thing when someone drops a random HMHB quote into any thread.
Talking of which - Four of us are heading up to Hull this Friday for the rearranged gig cancelled at short notice from last December.
I've never been a fan of needlessly revving a car engine but that's what's gonna happen 9.30 Saturday morning if the others are still fannying around with their breakfast.
Saw them at the Assembly rooms in Leamington a few weeks ago. They were excellent and did a fair few of their less played songs.

What will be irritating to many as it is to me on occasion is that there will now be all this furore for tickets but when people get to their seats they will find many empty for the game as they were probably bought as season tickets for next to nothing for disinterested kids, especially in the prime seats in the Tesco stand 🤦‍♂️

Will agree if nothing more is done. If in a day more sales are made then will just be annoyed it wasn’t sorted earlier . Questions were raised at forum about this
The club can’t be serious about ticket revenues being fundamental to the club’s success, while at the same time they sit on their hands on 2-3000 extra punters wanting to cough up for a home game.

Pity this, I thought the days of being rank amateurs off the pitch were over, clearly not. A chance to make serious extra cash and also boost the team on the pitch and we aren’t taking it.
Overreaction much? Blocks have been opened, they're looking at what else they can do. Current owners didn't f*ck up the segregation and weren't here when d*ckheads on both sides did d*ckhead things at the Derby game which led to it.

What about 11 and 12? How do we ever get those blocks back?
I think they are part of the 6000 away allocation
what a ridiculous situation for the club to find itself in, the only real excuse I guess, is that we haven’t been a club that has had to deal with large crowds on a regular basis in the stadiums lifespan.

We’ve got a 6000 capacity away section that can easily cater for any amount up to and including 6000.

We’ve got a 6000 capacity away section that is difficult to reduce to 3000, if the club wish to then sell those empty seats to home fans.
Presume the major stumbling block here is inadequate segregation in the concourse, toilet, food outlet areas etc.

So what we need is a 3000 capacity away section that can be quickly adapted and increased to 4000, 5000 and up to 6000, for the rare occasions it’s needed.

There was a massive segregation then too. It allowed the idiot to run over and kick him. With less segregation that wouldn't have been an option

so looking across to the East stand on Saturday it is very clear that there is a reasonable number of STHs who dont always attend, there will always be holidays / sickness etc
Is it too late for the club to do a resale of those tickets, to get people in who would otherwise miss out

Give STHs back 1/23 of purchase price and resell at full price is additional revenue for the club
Good idea!
I had 4 tickets for last Sat and 2 were left unused due to illness.
A reissue booth at the ground would be useful so those could be resold on the day.

Just seen a video of the pitch invader.

I'd put that under the local 'wongun' category, rather than a regular fan.

£114 looks fun

It looks to me like a policeman let the idiot in the grey run over, and then manicured his nails before putting his gloves on to deal with him. The majority of the trouble seemed to me to be the away fans. A bit of pepper spray would stop them.

Silly to give Birmingham that many tickets , I just hope there’s no trouble, but wouldn’t be surprised with so many coming over.

Or with Derby that day - mint sauce?

So the stadium's designed with `natural' segregation in the concourse for orange blocks 6-9 below?

But SAG/Police block off 4-13 completely to home fans?

Make it make sense!

there's a metal shutter that can be dropped into place to separate fans in the concourse. It's probably rusted to fucked with lack of use and no maintenance, but it is there.

1000 more but still no block 13 , I reckon they WILL eventually release block 13 .. and the attendance will be about 30,300 on the day
