The 'excellent' Dan Hodges I believe you referred to him as.

A man who is wrong on literally everything.

So I can see why you're a fan.

Who is he then?

25% turnout in my ward. Tories lost 13 councillors in Warwick District Council, Green the biggest group but will need to work with Labour to get the majority.

For those of us back in the real world the tories have done worse than the over inflated loss totals their chairman put about as an attempt and spin management.

Labour don't have to win 2014 on their own, the lib dems will be taking lots of seats from them as well.

We live under FPTP, why on earth would I, a lifetime Labour voter, want the Liberal Democrats to hold the balance of power in parliament? It went so well in 2010.

Piss poor

It gets worse for the tories when you remember these are the seats that last went to vote in 2019 when May lost over 1000 seats then as well.

Anti royal protestors being arrested before they've even started protesting, bin fire island continues it's transformation into a banana Republic.

Arrested for the crime of peaceful protest before it has even begun. Is that how we keep numbers supporting the monarchy up, ban protest against it and give every kid at school a cake with a flag on it?

The Met said they would crack down on ‘people trying to undermine the day’. So no anti royal sentiment allowed presumably. All so a man born into immense privilege can have a golden hat put on his head.

Pity they didn't crack down on sex offenders, murderers and racists in their own ranks with the same vigour.

Doesn’t say much about the strength of our society when you can’t protest peacefully. The people in power are very fragile. Snowflakes.

People do not need protecting to say the things everyone agrees with, they need protecting to say the things that might be unpopular. When that is cracked down upon it really does concern me.

Imagine if I said I went to a country where they were spending 100 of millions on the coronation of a new head of state even though he was a billionaire and the working people of that country were suffering a cost of living crisis.

That he only became head of state because he was next in line to the previous one, his mother who was also a billionaire.

And anyone peacefully protesting was being rounded up and thrown in jail you'd assume I was talking about some tinpot African dictatorship.
