I'd convinced myself this was all set to end with heartbreak after losing to Sunderland in the final.....

So now I'm all turned around on it..... PUMP IT UP, CITYS GOING UP.

Will we be better next season if we don’t go up?

Gyok will almost certainly be off. There is a good chance Hamer goes as well. Doyle will go back to Man City and McFadzean will be a year older so our back line will be a shambles. The only bit of hope I’m seeing is that Sheaf and Palmer will likely still be with us.

For me, the playoffs are do or die. If we lose I genuinely think we’ll struggle next season.
I don’t think we’ll struggle struggle, mid table at best probably

this summer is all about whether we spend the funds incoming from exits wisely

I think they will and they will also hopefully be given enough of the Gyo and Hamer fees to do it with. Important not to forget they were both signed for low 7 figure fees and developed into some of the league’s best players. Confident we can do it again but across more of the squad, but it will take time for a high number of new players to bed in.
Transitional season next year ready to challenge again the year after if we stay in this division

And what you think really matters....

I agree. This is our best chance and could be for some time to come.
Yeah, you only have to look at Barnsley to see what can happen. Quite similar to a in a way. Built their success off the back of a good striker (Dike) and combative midfield (Mowatt) combined with an excellent defensive record. It wasn’t a surprise to me when King mentioned them a few weeks ago.

The bigger problem for them was the managerial appointment. Robins and Viveash going would concern me more than any player.

The key thing for both Barnsley and Huddersfield was that they also changed manager for the following season

How we all feeling?
Quite nervous but also im slightly releaved that it will only be Luton or Boro who knock is out if we dont make it, Sunderland beating us at Wembley would have been extremely painful.

You know there’s this place called the CBS Arena where you can watch Coventry games. Try it some time!
