Scottish side Aberdeen are ready to clinch a deal for Liverpool midfielder Leighton Clarkson - despite a late move from Coventry.

The Dons have been working in bringing back Clarkson permanently after a successful loan spell and they are set to meet the asking price.

Coventry took a strong interest this week as they try to bolster their squad for the next promotion push.

However the Aberdeen move appeals to Clarkson who is willing to show what he can do in the SPFL.
Ha. Plenty of scope to live the dream. 4 Team league at best. He’s a bit of a home lad then?

Ethan Galbraith and Di’Shon Bernard both released by Manchester United, I'm sure we were linked to both in the recent past?

Zach Awe released by Arsenal, I'd take him at City.

Been linked to us somewhere I seen, would fit out transfer model, meant to be a good prospect too, turned down a contract to get first team football
Hopefully Cuffy has put in a good word.
