The interviews at the time say 'we' rather than 'I' and what 'we' means in context is clear.

If they're now negotiating lower prices with previous holders they'll alienate the ones who have paid full price -that's suicide.

I went to to school with Overson’s sons. Nice lads and might have made more of an effort to be mates if I knew I’d get to be an ITK 15 years later.Am I the only who thought it was obvious that GIMOC is mates with Overson’s son, hence the info, WhatsApp group mentions etc.?
I honestly don’t give it a shit either way but it is clear Overson is very friendly with a lot of the players as one of his Insta reels came up on my Insta and he had a big party with loads of them there, singing city songs etc. so obviously is going to have an inside line into what is going on and clearly devotes a lot of time to the club.
And not sure why GIMOC gets so much shit for writing what he’s hearing as doesn’t sound like he’s making it up to me and more importantly why he even continues to bother after all the grief he takes from you lot

Who ever is leaking such information to GIMOC etc appears no longer to have the clubs best interests at heart, which is the saddest part.
The club needed shaking up. We all knew it.
king maybe doing it well or badly but leaking info to the fans serves to undermine the unity we had last season.
Snippets about transfers are exciting, I love them, even though history shows that very few are accurate.
snippets about Poundland millionaires complaining about corporate box prices or disgruntled staff complaining about a new owner having a different view are just self serving and do not help the club in anyway.
King may or may not be an arse but he’s the only arse that got rid of SISU. Overson and Dawkins etc might be great guys but they didn’t get rid of SISU or even close to it. For that reason alone King deserves the opportunity to prove whether his way will work or not.

I think he shouldn't be airing so much dirty laundry in public and keep his gob shut. It's unprofessional and bad for the club. It wouldn't surprise me if a bunch of young men used to social interaction did such a thing. It would surprise me if a man who had helped fund the club through some difficult times had actively encouraged it as opposed to turning a blind eye.
If he’s more competent than Sepalla, Fisher, et al then King can still have a positive impact on the club.
Pouring money without competence gets you in the Everton position.
We all would love a billionaire to invest endlessly in us but we have been as cheap as Chips to buy for years and no one has come forward with an offer good enough to tempt SISU. Hoffman tried multiple times only to be derided on here for trying.
Until that billionaire arrives then we will have to rely on competent business men / women trying to run the club sustainably .
