posting bollocks? I’ve heard robins isn’t happy how true is that I don’t know. I can’t back up why I’ve heard hes unhappy.
He’s clearly responding specifically to the point about Boddy because you put it here as an ITK yet are also saying it’s common knowledge.

I’m not saying we were or we weren’t
I’m saying to suggest that the only people who’ve done anything good in the last 5 years when we’ve risen from League 2 to the play off final for the premier league are Mark Robins and Adj Viveash and that nothing done by any other staff or the owner made any difference other than negative is wrong
I get you probably get on well with Mark and Tynan but this revisionist history is fucking weird.

No point discussing it
I’m not mates with anyone mark out of them all has done and is doing an excellent job
Both of those have always responded well to any challenge and questions but as for being friends with anyone - don’t be stupid

I’m not ITK. I have however read most of this post (skipped a few pages…).

The central premise seems to be that DK is a control freak micro manager (my paraphrasing) who has pissed off many people within and around the club.

That may well be true, I have no idea.

What I don’t get is that given he has been in charge since January, why it has taken so long for the rumblings of discontent to emerge.

Is it that he didn’t start that way, but decided to change his approach once he felt he had a good view of how the club was being run?

Or, is it too cynical to wonder if nothing would have been heard without the corporate price increases? (Declaration of interest, I have tickets in the Legends - I prefer the old prices, but have paid the new ones).

So, is this a storm in a teacup or is the club about to implode?

Storm in a Tea Cup.

Short story is, some corporate folk have had their nose put out of place.

Just putting out a wishful thinking and optimistic possibility based on absolutely nothing.. but perhaps all the new signings we're getting are going to be unveiled in a mega kit release which includes Hamer and a load of centre backs and strikers 🤣 donning the new outfit...😶‍🌫️

Tell me Pete, what behind the scenes has been an overwhelming positive in the last 5 years that the board can be pleased with?
Appointing Robins and Adi and letting them get on with it instead of forcing clowns like Anderson, Igwe, Delieu etc. on them

The club did manage to rebuild most of it’s bridges in the local community once again as well - Albeit they were burned by the same people that rebuilt them

Viveash was only appointed by circumstances really

Our “success” was largely built by selling two players in a way that provided a budget to transact which became viable as we were at low levels

Sisu not having any money to put in last season following the pitch debacle led to the sale both of Hyam (not admitted by the club) and ultimately sale of club shouldn’t negate the previous 4 and a half
No bootlicking from me just an acceptance of people working hard and doing their best
That 4 and a half years was a result of the shit the same people put us in. Dropping us down to League two to get us back up to where we should be shouldn’t be held as a success.

also I’d work hard for the club wouldn’t justify hiring me would it

Mate of mine who supports Birmingham won't shut up about their new rich owners and the multiple signings they've made already...it's going to be insufferable this season if we don't get someone decent in to calm my nerves! The likes of Boro, Sunderland and Birmingham will be licking their lips looking for revenge for last season, all of which have made decent moves already or who have kept their star players.
That can’t be right - surely all the players are on holiday, don’t Birmingham know this?

Because they realise they are incompetent. A criticism of King is that he is not a footballing man, but the previous board were footballing people, yet took a back seat on it because they added no value.
Didn't stop McGinnity and Robinson interfering!

A strength of management is delegating to those with specialisms. I can handle King interfering if he thinks those currently in post have no specialisms. If he does the same with their replacements, things won't be good however.

and theres no evidence to suggest he wont trust the replacements so far.

Wow ok. I’ll take that from you as a balanced fellow fan who I respect. You’d give no credit for anything elsewhere? Is that right?

Not no credit. I’m sure people have done good things. But it’s all a drop in the ocean compared to dragging us from a L2 club to a Championship one and reuniting the fans and players.

Yeah I’ve got concerns too. Mostly around how badly organised everything still seems to be and how we seem to be just as skint as ever. But a lot of the explicit complaints seem to be “X person thinks they’re much more special than they’re being treated” and frankly that doesn’t butter many parsnips with me.

Stuff like corporate sales and signings well see how it pans out.
I'd like this twice if I could, partly as it's a good point well said but mainly because of butter my parsnips.

Coventry City FC Ltd can announce that a takeover has been agreed by a consortium of Gibbo, Burnsy, Cheeks, Morty, Ricey and Josh
This reminds me of the soldiers you get in the classic game Cannon Fodder, and to a lesser extent, Cannon Fodder 2. Jopps was a legend.

Fans are divided because posters who say they are in the know, repeat unfounded gossip on the forum to get likes and that then snowballs. The bloke is six months in to ownership of a business that's been a fucking basket case for the last 20 years, which he is trying to sort. You don't turn a ship round by being kind to disaffected employees who don't want to excel and insist on the status quo. The same goes for fans who complain about having it too good for too long with cheap boxes, if you want a club capable of challenging in the top six you cant do it by giving out cheap boxes and complementary tickets, it worked for Wasps right? The club needed root and branch reform to make it capable of being in the top 6 and if that means we loose employees along the way its because they are not of the right calibre then so be it. What we need to do is all calm down and wait for next week when the real work starts. PUSB.

We'll said sir. 👍

Probably manifesting itself now because DK can implement stuff like pricing which he couldn't do mid-season.
