Wouldn't have expected it in January though. What we did do is not sell anybody in a panic, and actually bring some bodies in where we had none. That was decent.

In my view the jury is definitely out on King and I for one am yet to be convinced. If he was instrumental in persuading Gyokeres to stay for the remainder of the season during the January transfer window then that has its merit but I've seen little else to be too optimistic about.
If he is playing hardball with the sale then he should be backing his own judgement by releasing funds for Robins now if he has identified any particular player we need to get over the line quickly.
We should hopefully know for sure within the next ten days or so whether we are into something good or not.
It would be such a shame to lose the momentum which has been steadily building these last few years.

We have 17 players right now, including Gyokeres, Tavares, O’Hare and Moore.

How are we even going to play a game in Portugal as things stand? The U23s are playing Leamington while we’re away so will presumably be staying behind.
