It's called climate change and its a work in progress.....
It's not his political views itself that are the problem. It's the fact he has links to dodgy people, dodgy organisations and dodgy money.
The bank is obviously going to assess that risk and carry out due diligence. If he's considered too high risk, they are perfectly entitled to close his account.
And even if it was about his views, which is what he claims, he was quite happy for businesses to be able to choose who they do business with based on their views a few years ago. Karma's a bitch eh Nige.

I'm not really understanding why Farage should be treated differently to others or why there's an outrage that his account may have been closed for moral reasons when banks do this to other people on a daily basis without any fuss in the media
There's no right to anything other than a basic bank account, and that's only a relatively recent requirement as there were so many people unable to find a bank that would let them maintain an account

Well I was going for option 1.

Amongst numerous other things.
Increasing resistance to antibiotics. An increasing population creating ever more demand for land and resources as both get smaller, leading to ever higher tensions and disputes in an era with frighteningly powerful weapons. Not to mention potential threats like AI.
You can see why people wonder if we've not discovered intelligent life because it's destined to destroy itself first.

I caught a headline in the Express yesterday that said Brexit win for fishermen, at last I thought so I read the article. It was very vague on what the win was but did mention the introduction of Remote Electronic Monitoring. So I googled Remote Electronic Monitoring Fishing to get a clearer idea of what that is and top of the page was an article about how the EU started introducing it in in 2021. So I guess the “win” is being 2 years behind the curve because of Brexit. But as you say they know what they’re doing, they understand their readership.

Lib Dem’s were always the favourite to win Frome. Apparently Sarah Dyke has been treated like a local MP for months so sure was the community that she would be the next MP. She had a full caseload before the election and is hitting the ground running. Not sure where people are getting Labour were expected to win it from. Desperate defence from the right.

That will undoubtedly be a disappointment for them. But the Selby result was massive even by by-election standards. Overturning a 20K majority is not something you see very often.

Blaming ULEZ is lazy, considering as well that Starmer came out and supported the scheme a few weeks ago, he’s tried to straddle the fence on it.
900 people voted Green, most of those would have probably have voted Labour not so long ago, until they were told their vote wasn’t wanted.
