Imagine Collins getting sent off in the second minute and Sakamoto has to come on in goal.Would be a point if the keeper gets injured

In the past 20 years how many times have we needed to bring a keeper on?
Outfield player concert?Bold? What do you do if they’re injured or sent off? Sure it’s a once every couple of years occurrence, but you’re basically writing a game off if it happens.
Are you saying the 50-100 games with an extra sub is worth the one game you need it? I can see that.
Outfield player concert?
We've never had the depth to do thatThe only thing I’d say is how often have we left a player out of the squad who we needed during a game? Probably just as often as we’ve subbed a keeper.
We've never had the depth to do that
I'd hope by the end of the window we will Shmmeee! I'm confident we willHave we now?
That is basically what I’m saying. In the last 20 years I think we’ve been forced into it about 3 times, most recently when Marosi got his cheek broken against Cardiff in the last few minutes. Last time before that I think when Michael Quirke came on at Watford in 2010.Bold? What do you do if they’re injured or sent off? If it DID happen this year, and we didnt have a back up keeper, we are basically forfeiting the game. I'd suggest there isnt a marginal gain from having an extra outfield player on the bench to warrant the risk of not having a keeper. That is basically what I’m saying. Up till now we haven’t had the depth to justify it, this season we might.
Crazy not to, what if your keeper gets a head injury or pops a shoulder?Perhaps controversial but I don’t see the point in having a keeper on the bench.
Turner saying we’re after another LCB. Which is good news. That would be the defence sorted for the season.
We only have five RWB options at the moment, Robins needs to bring in at least six or seven more before next weekendImagine with Eccles sakamoto latibeaudiere and Burroughs he won't be rushing to sign a rwb
Perhaps now with room for 9 on the bench it’s fine, but back when it was 5 or even 7 it’s taking the place of an outfield player who can impact the game in far more scenarios than a sub keeper. Warnock did it a lot in the 2000s/2010s.Crazy not to, what if your keeper gets a head injury or pops a shoulder?
Or Wilson gets himself sent off for his blatant time-wasting.
It's not as if there isn't space on the bench now.
We had zero budget. We signed maguire as proof of that. I just don't see us this window signing 2 players for the same position on loan.
Kitching on a permanent would make me forget McNally.
We did last year with Panzo and Doyle

Actually think it will give howley the opportunity to be loaned out somewhere to play regularlyHope so, would be a shame if this window meant we pushed out the likes of Burroughs Eccles and Howley completely. Hopefully it just means we can blood them properly.
That must be the reason all those times Bright didn't make the squad, and not the fact he was AWOLHow many times in the last ten years have we had to leave a game-changing option off the bench to make room for a sub keeper?

I totally get what you're saying, and with 5 subs, i think it would be worth the risk of not having a gk sub, so you can cover more outfield positions. That is basically what I’m saying. Yea, but once Southampton showed an interest it would of been impossible to compete with wages.Shame we didn’t get that young lad from Arsenal, would have been good for the future

Guehi hadn’t played much before he went to Swansea on loan from Chelsea, nor Colwill at Huddersfield.I'm puzzled by the rush for Bashir Humphreys. Only played 12 professional games.
Is he really that good though? Is he as good or better than what we've brought in already?Kitching on a permanent would make me forget McNally.
For every Guehi though theres a Tayo Adaramola. I'd rather have players with experienceGuehi hadn’t played much before he went to Swansea on loan from Chelsea, nor Colwill at Huddersfield.
I do sort of get your logic to be fairIn the past 20 years how many times have we needed to bring a keeper on?
Tayo hadn’t played a professional game and came from palace, Humphries has been playing in the 2nd division in Germany and played most of Chelsea pre Season games, clearly highly thought of.For every Guehi though theres a Tayo Adaramola. I'd rather have players with experience
I still wear a seat belt though (law aside) despite never having my life saved by one.In the past 20 years how many times have we needed to bring a keeper on?
Now now Greggs, he’ll score goals2 forwards please, can't rely on Godden and an Aldi version of Leon Clarke.
4 or 5?Now now Greggs, he’ll score goals
