I agree, better to be ruthlessly told a player wants out like Vik rather than this non committal Hamer rubbish. It's souring him a bit as it's really not ideal with a week to go.

One of the many theories is that Hamer wants to stay but is trying to squeeze the best possible deal from the club, with the expectation that he will then leave next summer.

I am hoping that he can see what Robins is doing. I am hoping that Hamer might just want to stay to see what happens this season because Robins is building a squad of genuinely exciting talented players. Hamer might just value the chance to be the key player around which a team is being constructed

No one is offering it. This forum has decided it’s what he’s worth based off a tweet a few asks ago

As you say the offers will be far less. The collective view of him on here isn’t it seems shared by the wider football world.

He can negotiate any deal he likes in 6 months. he isnt going to sign a 1 year extension
