Well, they did have the Romanians, Hagi and Popuscu. Although the "regarded as rubbish in Brazil" Taffarel got M.O.M. Possibly the peak of "the trouble with the Arsenal is, they always try to walk the ball in" as it was on penalties after a 0-0.They did it with no money, just their strong beliefs.
McNally hasn't been for sale and is under contract for a number of years. We knocked the door and got told to go away.
They're premier league now, so the 3 or 4 million they'd get from a championship side is peanuts to them now. They may want to keep him as back up, or get a loan fee for him as he continues to develop elsewhere.I do wonder what Burnley's intentions with McNally are. He's only 23 so plenty of potential, but if they have no intention of playing him then surely they'll want to cash in at some point. I'd of thought this is a good time after a great season, wouldn't want him to lose form or pick up an injury.

They might well get relegated and McNally might well suit them next season. They're premier league now, so the 3 or 4 million they'd get from a championship side is peanuts to them now. They may want to keep him as back up, or get a loan fee for him as he continues to develop elsewhere.
No they are developing him and in no rush to cash in. No club frets about players picking up injuries - it's part and parcel of the game. Do you leave the house every morning and worry about all the possibilities you might encounter?I do wonder what Burnley's intentions with McNally are. Careful! Better not support modern slavery!!Another monster contract
Nothing. Hence my confusionI’ve definitely missed your point! What’s Maguire-Drew got to do with Bryan Richardson?!
You need therapy then and have no right, in future to criticise young men and their playing ability whilst trying to learn their trade and mature as adultsYes.
He looked so leggy and off balance. I remember thinking the defenders don't have a clue where he's going because he doesn't. But you could see the underlying raw skill. Similar with this chap.Would love to know what research we have done on this guy. Looks so raw and cumbersome on the clips of him. The comments on him don't exactly fill me with confidence. If we were spending £2m on him I'd could maybe see it.
Mind you I thought Gyokeres was an absolute carthorse on first viewings.
Wasn’t it Bidwell who headed that last corner away in the semi final at Middlesbrough?Long as Jake Bidwell isn’t on corners
I trust the club to get it right on calls like this.Weird signing this if it happens. Seems a fuck ton of money for not a great player.
I meant taking themWasn’t it Bidwell who headed that last corner away in the semi final at Middlesbrough?
Correct, he did nothing wrong in the playoff final either. ...... Except not take a bloody pen!!!Wasn’t it Bidwell who headed that last corner away in the semi final at Middlesbrough?
HahahahahahaDon't get the point of this signing when we could have got Jerry Yates, Vente and Scott Twine for the same price.
