People fawn over Hamer but Vik has far more potential to be a proper success at a higher level. I could genuinely see him playing for someone like Man Utd as a rotation option.
I am friends with a Man Utd season ticket holder who comes to the occasional Coventry game with his wife who would happily have them sign both of them.

Not a good look is it.

Says he wants to test himself in the highest league, straight out on it.

He's going to be in for a shock.

I dunno. I quite like that about him. Don’t get me wrong, if he was getting absolutely smashed all the time then there’s problems. I don’t think they play until next weekend and theres something quite refreshing about players mixing and having a drink with fans etc. maybe I’m just a bit old school though

Yeah but you might think as he's not up to fitness anyway he would have laid off it and got in the gym so his premier League table will be the best it could be.

He's not good enough to be like Rooney and balloon up but still control games in the premier League.

Don't get me wrong, end of seasons awards and players mingling etc is a great thing.

There was an interesting point in an article on sell on fees in an article on The Athletic today.

It seems obvious, but apparently you only receive them as the selling tee receives them.

I.e. If Vik goes for £70million and that's paid in 5 yearly installments.

We would only receive £2million a year for the 5 years.

Which would then result in us having to negotiate any purchase against a similar installment package. Rather than receiving £10million in one go and having money in the bank for wages and fees.

Overweight, unfit athlete out on the piss a few days before his season in the premier League starts.

It isn’t a great look to be fair. Alcohol is avoided all together by a good proportion of the elite players. And plenty of ex-players on pods say they wished they’d left it alone to add a further few years onto their career.

This overweight unfit athlete always out on the piss did alright for us!!

Some of the negative comments about him are classic 'spurned lover' stuff :)

Feel bad digging this up again, especially as it's dying, but noticed on Sheff Utd forum - match day thread for Forest - their fans seem to think Hamer is a CAM. Interesting that although he's highly regarded, a lot of people don't seem to know where he plays.

He’s not and that’s what makes his stats for the second half of last season so impressive
