Sorry but not having a dig at you but as long as I have hole in my botty I’m not having Sakamoto is a winger or a wing back one bit. He doesn’t have the attributes to play wing back… can’t defend and hasn’t the pace. He’s a player that sits in the hole or plays as a second forward sitting deep.Probably just play Sakamoto as a winger and use Eccles in the 4. Or Dasila on the left, Sakamoto on the right and Bidwell cover as left back.
He's said himself that he's a winger who is mainly good at attackingSorry but not having a dig at you but as long as I have hole in my botty I’m not having Sakamoto is a winger or a wing back one bit. He doesn’t have the attributes to play wing back… can’t defend and hasn’t the pace. He’s a player that sits in the hole or plays as a second forward sitting deep.
I assume it’s healed over then …. He can clearly play as a winger. Are you new to the sport ?Sorry but not having a dig at you but as long as I have hole in my botty I’m not having Sakamoto is a winger or a wing back one bit. He doesn’t have the attributes to play wing back… can’t defend and hasn’t the pace. He’s a player that sits in the hole or plays as a second forward sitting deep.
He is a winger , he can't defend but he is the epitome of a wingerSorry but not having a dig at you but as long as I have hole in my botty I’m not having Sakamoto is a winger or a wing back one bit. He doesn’t have the attributes to play wing back… can’t defend and hasn’t the pace. He’s a player that sits in the hole or plays as a second forward sitting deep.
He’s not a winger at all.I assume it’s healed over then …. He can clearly play as a winger. Are you new to the sport ?
Sakamoto hasn’t got pace?Sorry but not having a dig at you but as long as I have hole in my botty I’m not having Sakamoto is a winger or a wing back one bit. Obviously your new to the game?I assume it’s healed over then …. He can clearly play as a winger. Are you new to the sport ?
Really? You really believe he has real pace?Sakamoto hasn’t got pace?
He’s the most obvious winger I’ve ever seen, plays all his best stuff with his back to the touchline
BehaveIs ccfc54321 boosh?
Oggy just made a good point on cwr about Latibeaudiere playing wing back and Thomas in the right of a back three. We’ve seen before with Robins when we have a troubled start he tends to shut up shop and take a few 0-0’s to set foundations, I fully expect this to be the case over the coming matches after the last couple. Expect a cagey 0-0 or perhaps pinch it 1-0 but a boring, ugly match.
He's certainly got the acceleration to go past a man.Really? You really believe he has real pace?
If you can stomach it, watch the Tuesday game again 2nd half. We give it away from a corner, get countered and he makes up about 40 yards to cut it out.Really? You really believe he has real pace?
Is the bottom part of that image an instruction to Wright?
And then was slow to react to the second goal.If you can stomach it, watch the Tuesday game again 2nd half. We give it away from a corner, get countered and he makes up about 40 yards to cut it out.
Thank goodness some sense. You can't play Saka as a wing back, the lad cannot defend
Play him wide up front and he'll destroy them
Because he isn't a defender. You might as well play Callum O'Hare at wing back then get annoyed when the same happensAnd then was slow to react to the second goal.
I’m confused are we agreeing or disagreeing here?Because he isn't a defender. You might as well play Callum O'Hare at wing back then get annoyed when the same happens
Well your point was about whether he has pace or not so I gave a case of where he showed lots of it.I’m confused are we agreeing or disagreeing here?
I would say that not being a defender means you're not a defender! If being responsible for conceding against Cardiff means you're not a defender then we need to replace 1 or 2 more Monday
So who's the RB? We've got more people who at a push can play RWB than RB.Now with no recognised RWB I think going to 4 at the back just became a serious option.
I'd think a full back is a more defence minded role anyway so you could still play Lati there. So who's the RB? We've got more people who at a push can play RWB than RB.
He's meant to be marking their left sided attacker and anyway even if you argue that he still has no idea where the man who becomes his man is and he completely misses what is a simple and basic run off the ball. Not sure you can blame Sakamoto too much for the 2nd against Cardiff. If your wing back is back in the box competing for a cross something’s gone wrong with the system.
Agreed. Wing backs are a combination of defensive and attack. If you can’t defend then your no wing back! He's meant to be marking their left sided attacker and anyway even if you argue that he still has no idea where the man who becomes his man is and he completely misses what is a simple and basic run off the ball.
The RWB needs to be able to defend the area beyond and at the far post when the ball is crossed from the opposite side. It was a basic personal error that showed a lack of defensive ability.
