And when he was fit and played palmer was on the bench for most of those games

That's not true and also not relevant anyway as both weren't fully match fit - I think there was about 3 games where they were both fully fit at the same time.

palmer was on the bench the last 5 games and came on in several when o hare started so this stuff you peddle they were not fit is nonsense and they were both able to play together during all 11 games

they were both in every squad together - I think they started two games together - one when palmer was played as a forward

I think the only game they played in midfield as a collective unit from kick off was Wigan - they both came off at nil nil. Palmer then was a fully fit substitute as he was used in games but o hare started - there was realistically 8 games they could have started together and they started 1 in midfield which didn’t work and Blackpool from necessity

As I keep saying if Allen was fit he’d have been a regular starter - like godden he sees him as a vital component in the team - if and when he gets back to fitness he will be playing. He sheaf o hare and hamer last season would have been the first choice midfield

It's not nonsense, it's a fact.

Palmer was injured during the World Cup break and didn't train, hence why he didn't start the games after the break.

The only time they were both close to fully match fit at the same time was the run of 4 games from Blackpool to Wigan. They each started 3 times.

Yes it’s nonsense as palmer was selected for every game then on the bench and when o hare was injured in the 7th minute the “injured” Palmer replaced him.
In fact he came on for 3 of the 4 games.
You’ve just invented a narrative which there’s zero evidence to support. The Blackpool game doesn’t count as a midfield pairing.
Theres also the inconvenient fact that o hare was going to Burnley if he wasn’t injured
The Wigan game they started as Allen was rested. When Allen came on we won the game.
After the Blackpool game o hare started palmer didn’t. Against Watford palmer started and was replaced and o hare came on.
After the Wigan game palmer was dropped for Jamie Allen against QPR
Robins could have played them both and didn’t against Blackburn Watford and QPR
I genuinely can’t see the other game they both started in - which was it?

Er you’ve edited my post?

I’ve stated that during November Wigan from what I see was the only game they played together

Prior to that and after the Blackburn game

Blackburn- o hare starts
Watford - palmer starts
Wigan - start together and Allen rested
Qpr - o hare starts and palmer is benched

The first game after the break is reading. The injured palmer comes on in that game
Against West Brom palmer comes on
The only game he doesn’t is Swansea

Which other game did they start - I don’t see it

Why is PVA laughing at this post - why won’t he answer and have a sensible debate?

It's the Blackpool game, you can't just ignore it because it doesn't suit your narrative.

And I explained why Palmer didn't start after the international break. You ignored that too.

It's you that won't have a sensible debate.

I said they stated Blackpool and Wigan - you said they started 3 together?

I’ve also detailed every game around that and stated the only game that they started together was Wigan in midfield and after the Blackpool game and post that game that they never have either before or after the World Cup break - why weren’t they paired together?

So why didn’t a fully fit Kasey Palmer and Callum O Hare start together against Blackburn Watford and QPR when buy your own admission they were fully fit

And where is the third game they started together?

It’s also a slight on Robins to suggest he’s over the course of a whole month in December playing an injured player in 3 of the 4 games

Good grief. You seriously need to learn to read. And put the bottle down.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, this is utterly pointless.

Anyway, leaving the weirdo to it and getting the thread back on track.

Will it be Eccles, Latibeaudiere or Dasilva at RWB do we think?

Lats played there for Swansea a bit last year so I'd be tempted to go with him and give Kitching a start in the middle.

I'd play lati , then Thomas fadz and kitching centrally dasilva left

Assuming you mean Dasilva left, yeah that's what I'd go with. Though Binks hasn't done much wrong tbf so a bit harsh on him but we need to see Kitching from the start.

I have presented evidence to say there was zero evidence he wanted palmer and o hare to start together - as ever you’ve offered nothing to counter it

I feel as though we need a dedicated ‘Injury and Rehabilitation’ thread on here.

Considering how many we have, it’d be good to keep track.

Wont tell me mate, which is fair enough. I think it will leak out one way or another in the next 24 hours anyway
Cant say outright of course but

You will literally not be surprised whatsoever at who it is. If anything, its predictable as anything

First post - he won't tell you who it is
Second post - you seem to know who it is?
I'm confused, but whoever it is, I hope that it is something fairly minor. Palme is the obvious one for 'history'., and half the forum wanted him dropped anyway. Speedy recovery, whoever it is.

There's a few obvious contenders! Palmer, Godden, Eccles, Kelly for previous injury issues.

Or one of the new signings to go with MVE for the 'just our luck category'.

(though he later said it was Palmer anyway)

What happens now, aside from the injury. Who have we got in midfield?

Midfield setup?

Lati..........Thomas..........Kitching.....JDS....

...Saka.............Ayari........Palmer.............
............................Wright........................

4-2-3-1 this formation would get the most from Wright who looks good running off the shoulders of defenders. Godden to start perhaps given his scoring run.

This is my best guess. MR may have called Saka out after Cardiff but he's our best bet for keeping pace and width on that side while not messing with the back 3 too much, and we are at home so hopefully he'll be looking to attack. Ayari in for Palmer is pretty easy, don't think Allen's ready for a start yet. Binks hasn't done much wrong but MR did say he wasn't totally happy with him after Tuesday and you'd think Kitching was brought in as first choice on that side. You'd like to think Simms showed enough when he came on to replace Wright.

Wilson
Lats Fadz Kitching
Saka Kelly Eccles Dasilva
Ayari
Godden Simms

It sounds like Palmer is injured.

We need to accept we don’t current have the personnel for three at the back IMO. Or rather for two in midfield.

It seems odd to me that anyone would think that anyobe other than Saka would play on the right. It seemed that he bought 2 RWBs and tried them both, preferred MVE who is now injured, so Saka gets a turn. I didn't hear the comment MR made but I doubt it was so strong that he is now going to never play his new signing again after a few games. He spend money on him and obviously thinks he'll be good at this level.
