About right Might have given Wilson an 8 and possibly MOTM and Wright 6 scored the goal but still looks a bit lost.

Wright took his goal well I thought but yes he looked a bit awkward otherwise. Binks was excellent defensively I thought and very composed with the ball. Thomas is going to need time, but I can’t fault the centre backs being encouraged to bring the ball out of defence.

When he doesn't have time to think he is very good in possession, he either hits a simple one touch pass or brings it out and puts the opposition on the back foot . When he has time to think he dithers a bit and hits a pass into trouble or launches it long .
He's still young and very inexperienced and all that can be coached out of him , I think we just have to accept hes going to make mistakes at times while he's still learning the role fully

Agree with most of this except Lati was really solid and at times was the only one showing real intensity. He was a 7 pushing 8 for me tonight.

Also Wilson deserved an 8 at least, surely. Kept a clean sheet and made some great saves. What more could he have done tonight?

All in all, a pretty average performance but found a way to win and I’ll take that all night. PUSB x

Rewatch the game, Allen was often the only man showing for the ball.
He was head and shoulders above Ayari.

I think Ayari will be a better player than Allen but he's miles off yet.

Allen is great between the defence and midfield lines of the opponent. And nicking in to grab the ball off someone. Less so in a more static holding role. On showings so far he starts ahead of Ayari in the 10 role for me.

Wilson motm, closely followed by Binks, what a good player he is, I was surprised he was subbed but he had been booked and there were plenty of fouls going on & last thing we wanted was him getting a red and missing the next match.

I thought he started brightly and was up around their penalty area when we were attacking but looked lost once Kelly went off. Second half once we settled and got momentum he was looking forward more with his passing.
You are right though , it's time for him to show his stuff the next few games , could be the making of him

He does but he was showing for the ball in our own half when we were under pressure and got us out of trouble a few times in the 2nd half.

What a blow Kelly going off was though, we fell apart for the remainder ofthe first half once he went off, hopefully it's not too serious
