They never do though , I agree about the kids , but where are their neighbours offering safe passage ?
I think unfortunately Hamas would never allow safe passage, even if their neighbours allowed it. Its terribly sad and completely sick to be holding their own countries children as hostages.

They should be offering humanitarian assistance, there was a big March in Jordan demanding it but that's obviously been ignored by the administration.
Why? I have no idea.

Geez, Evo, you are usually a decent poster, but seem to have completely lost the plot on this one.

I don't side with Hamas. Who on here does? We all know Hamas are terrorists. No-one has said otherwise

I am quite offended at the suggestion I side with Hamas.

They don’t mean it. It’s a last ditch attempt to shut the conversation down is all.

I haven't lost the plot , I still think you're all sound .. I just don't believe you on this subject.. fuck hamas I hope Israel crush them

That's me
And the innocent people in their way by accident of being born into one of the most overcrowded places in the world? Are you capable of sparing a thought for them?

But it didn’t yet in the Russia conflict and as soon as Palestine is attacked you say something

When Israel is attacked you say nothing
Well,.I didn't say anything at the time of the attack either, but my father has recently died and at the time I was flitting back and forth from Kent to Coventry, visiting solicitors abd ministers and funeral directors and didn't even know about it until some time after..

I have them since commented on the Israeli retribution, which I believe has gone far too far.

I have spared a thought for them .. their families , mums and dads and grandads didn't spare a thought when they voted terrorists into power , knowing they'd bomb Israel, and knowing Israel would retaliate .. that's facts

Your view in 2014 on here was that the Jews were a bunch of land grabbing bastards and they can fuck off out of Israel

Obviously this’ll be deliberately misconstrued, but you know some oddball will find a way to argue with that.

Yeah basically. I don’t get their “divine right” stuff. And expansion post 1948 has been one way. But the Palestines don’t help themselves rejecting options and supporting terrorists.

So I refer you back to my earlier post: both a bunch of cunts

I want Hamas to be crushed too.

This isn't just retribution against Hamas though. This is against the people of Palestine.

Actually the more you speak about this the more it's easy to see why this argument keeps going on .. I almost replied with a comment that would surely have kept it going on (nothing towards you ) and that's the reality of the story

Then get help mate cos you’re seeing the enemy everywhere. Go have a cup of tea.

I honestly don’t think it’s him that needs help on here

I don't need help , I'm extremely switched on about it , I've been to Israel have you ?

I’ve thrown a kettle over a pub. Going to Israel doesn’t qualify you to claim support for terrorism in the UK based of a few people saying they dont support Israel’s tactics in the Middle East, a fairly vanilla progressive position.

And I know that because I’ve been in and around UK left wing politics my entire life, unlike you, so have a clue what I’m on about.

Sounds like it

Also, let's not claim that it's only the left that would support hamas over israel in the UK , completely blowing the argument you've literally just made , because you were " in and around left wing politics "

You'd be wrong

There's simply far more to it than that

So by that train of thought everyone under the age of 38 in the UK has blood on their hands because their parents and grandparents voted in the government that invaded Iraq on a lie. Do you really not get how ridiculous what you’re saying is?

Yes because the UK voted Labour in power to invade Iraq

Wasn’t Blair re-elected Tony after the WMD debate

I have. I’ve also been to the West Bank. Not been to Gaza but it’s infinitely worse than the West Bank.

Hamas charter wants a Palestinian state with the borders of Israel, otherwise known as the 2 state solution. Gaza did not vote in Hamas to invade Israel and commit acts of terrorism. Again, do you really not get how ridiculous what you’re saying is.

Hamas doesn't want peace with Israel, never has

In next weeks Wiki search Tony looks at Hitler and Neville chamberlain and says there is peace on our time

It’s in their charter. The Red Wall voted in the Tories to level up. That ain’t happening. No body voted in the Tories to calamity mismanage a pandemic killing tens of thousands of people. Guess what. People vote in people on promises to do what they say in writing that they’re going to do. Guess what, those people continually get let down by their elected representatives. It’s the illness of politics.
