The O’Hare one I can forgive slightly as from one angle it looked like he fell over with the slightest bit of contact and from another angle it looked like a penalty, so it’s a tricky call to make, fair enough, but one thing I cannot forgive is when everything about a player (apart from his back leg and left arm) is completely offside. That’s just inexcusable, the linesman had one job and he fucked it up massively.

I've just seen the handball again and it's the worst decision of the lot. How Robins hasn't mentioned that in the interview is barmy. It's the clearest handball I've ever seen.

Despite the fact we are a pile of shit right now, the decisions and performances from the officials make it ten times worse. Without intending to sound like a broken record, why did the EFL promise and preach to change all that is wrong with the game at this level when it falls away after 3 games? Back to the same shite we were enduring every game last season and every season before.

I dont like VAR but if it was i use the handball would of been given as a pen, and the 2nd would of been ruled out for offside. The 2 decision i can understand standing up would of been O hare pen shout and the 1st goal. Goal looked tight and without the lines i wouldn't know. Pen for O hare would of been soft.

There number 7 sneaks in a push in the back on our last defender too to create more space for the first goal all in all a shit show.

The hand ball was obvious. The offside was obvious. If you watch the first goal as their player takes the shot the scorer is offside. The manhandling of tats in the first half where he was lifted off his feet right in front of us didn't even get any reaction from the linesman.Thought Wright should have had a pen.I know we all watch things with Sky Blue eyes but they say these things even up really hope so.

Didn’t see the first offside

Mad wasn't it. Their players were going down like skittles, one after another. Where was the time added on for that? Plus there were 9 subs that came on.

4 mins was just baffling.
I’m sick of it tbh. Start of the season there was no time wasting. We’re now back to crazy levels and the extra time added on has disappeared.

We all moan about officials but last night was one of the few games where there were enough bad decisions it might have changed the game. Doesn’t excuse us not scoring mind.

They must have given up with it now, it was the same first half too.

Second half was madness, not adding anything on at all.
Yeah 2 mins first half, West Brom wasted the first 40 seconds, red blew bang on 47 minutes.

It happens every season. They introduce a new directive (e.g holding in the box, letting more fouls go, adding on more time) and it’s forgotten about by October. Can’t wait to see what next seasons will be.
You’re right. They did it a couple of season ago where we kept getting late goals but it seem this season things were a bit more robust and would stay in place.

The goalkeeper holding the ball for six seconds, they hold it for longer than that when they do the theatrical fall forward. Should be six seconds then a direct free kick around the box in a position of your choice.

referees and assistant referees don't seem to worry about foul throws any more
Jay da silva took a throw in last night and almost kicked the back of his own head
i watch regularly for players only having one foot on the ground when they take a throw it happens a few times every game i watch
I'm beginning to think they must have changed the laws of the game without telling me

I probably give the officials a bit more slack than most, individual decisions like the handball & the offside are clearly wrong & they should do better but they are a genuine mistake. The failure to crack down on timewasting & allowing it to continue so blatantly then not adding the time on though is a conscious choice that is simply unacceptable & enabling cheats to prosper.

Yep that’s bang on that
Don’t get me wrong I’m very critical in a way I’d be fuming at parents or players about my lad reffing
I agree about any subjective decisions some give some don’t some give sometimes don’t other times but fundamentally mistakes or disagreements are essentially a part of the game with humans
Being in the right place to make a decision
Being confident to make that decision
Following the laws and applying them now there’s something you can say that’s wrong or right about
u12 game Saturday the players said to him why didn’t he add time, he’d added 3 and a half minutes on a 30 min half, then a couple of the cheeky scamps said no he didn’t.
I said first half should be 6 it’ll be 4 and thought 8 for second but was very surprised by 4
Wouldn’t have mattered of course

Pete since your on roughly how long has your lad been told to give for a sub. to come on ie 9 last night? While on subs. should they still leave by the nearest point on the pitch? How long for a goal celebration? Last night noticed in both halves time should have been added for things in stoppage time but weren't.As for being in the right place the linesman was for the second offside but chose not to give it.

Did anyone spot again how poor the officials are when we tried to make the COH sub. Both players ready to come on and waiting at the touchline. But the 4th official appear to be in a world of her own and had not got the board ready.

The fall forward is because the timer doesn’t start until they’re on their feet. It’s piss taking all the way down.

We aren’t playing well and confidence is low, but it doesn’t help when there is multiple bad decisions against us in a game, which last night directly results in us loosing. We get the pen and score it’s a different game, the push on our defender for their goal penalised no first goal, different game. Offside spotted, we are still only 1-0 down different game. There’s been 3 or 4 games this season where we have had multiple poor decisions go against us, that doesn’t help the situation and also eats away st the players confidence

It’s about fairness isn’t it
The coach of this one team shouted that he was a disgrace for giving a free kick!!! Lad went over to say appeal but don’t carry on and set an example. Coach just turned away and at the end said get a different vocation. I said he should have said F off thankfully he is more mature than me. Anyway this was part of the time added on. So no wonder they whinged

At top level they are given agreed amounts for taking a throw or goal kick or for dead time and it’s not supposed to be a mystery.

However I was told there were some issues at the start of the season and some agreed and some didn’t. So things like 10 seconds for a throw and 30 for a goal kick and 1 minute for a goal that kind of thing.

The agreed added time for subs was always 30 seconds a sub.

As with most things the top flight players whinge and they back track

There was a lot more dead time in that game than 8 minutes
