Palmer would be a disaster in that formation.
Indeed how could he possibly have matched Allen and O'Hare's contributions today

O’Hare is coming back from 11 months out. Palmer just looks like he is every gameIndeed how could he possibly have matched Allen and O'Hare's contributions today
Collins, Thomas and Kitching unsurprisingly looked a lot more on the same wavelength. Collins’ kicking a breath of fresh airLooked a lot more solid and second half was decent, finishing aside. Bidwell and Eccles* men of the match. Also thought it was Thomas best match for us and Kitching was good
*just shoot Josh !!!
As Godden is not?Easy to point out why Sakamoto doesn’t start games. He’s very, very weak.
Covcity4life is always right!
Thought it was alright today. The keeper and back 4 all played well and we didn't give Stoke a sniff. That's got to be encouraging for robins considering we have removed a CB from the formation
And we are back to having chances and not taking them. Better than zero creation.
The main issue is stil midfield. I thought sheaf and Eccles were brilliant today but we need a player who can make things happen with tehcniqie and flair.
The subs didn't work. O hare was shite and saka never got the ball. In hindsight would have been interesting to see Simms kept on.
But the losing streak is over and there is some potential with the formation.
Onwards and upwards

Dasilva’s his cousinYou described da silva as a brilliant signing - are you right about that as you always are
Give it a rest, we had two or three great chances and Stoke had one reasonable chance.

When we were playing 8 defensive players a week we created very littlePeople have been saying that for months now. We can spend a season creating two or three chances and fail to win every week.

ThisWe created plenty of chances and should have won the game and we never looked like conceding a goal
Haha triggering people even when not trying.
I'm so good.

Well , as much I I don't like to admit I am wrong, we looked far more cohesive as a unit todaySounds like we’re gonna stick at 4-3-3
I will say to those complaining about our front line, would you rather have Dwight Gayle?Stoke have been improving , this is their last 5 , today isn't a shit result and Stoke aren't a shit side View attachment 32388
As Godden is not?
I never said otherwise so I've no idea what you're going on about.
Can't dump it right away. Especially after a promising game today. Although wouldn't be surprised if we eventually went back to 352Sounds like we’re gonna stick at 4-3-3
Once he came about 20 yards out of his goal and found Godden in the opposition box. Wasn’t tested much today otherwise but he deserves to start again next time.Quick long throw to release Wright as well. Let’s hope Robins doesn’t start randomly chopping and changing again !
Well you’ve also said Wright and Bidwell were the same in the ratings thread - why would Palmer give us an advantage today in that formation

He had Gyokeres who is as good as 3Because Allen and O'Hare offered very little and Palmer would benefit from having three forwards in front of him, something he's never had here before.
Thank fuck for that. Now he just needs to tweak who's in it slightly and we should improve.Sounds like we’re gonna stick at 4-3-3
