As of yesterday....

Money will be spent on a box to box 8 a 'Hamer replacement' if you will

2 loans coming in, 1 right and 1 left wing, very strong possibility of Ayari going back, Moore will be 'mutual agreement'. If Binks is still here at end of Jan expect him to be made permanent in the summer
right and left wing shows we’re sticking with this formation doesn’t it…

Don’t think we need a number ten or a forward generally. We need cover/challenge for Eccles and Allen in the middle.

CM absolutely the priority. Beyond that maybe a winger if 433 is here to stay. Then it’s dependent on whether we have any leave.

I’ve got a feeling that some players’ days are numbered: Fadz, Kelly, Palmer.

Id expect all three to run down their contracts TBH. Can see Binks and Ayari going back. And maybe a CB in to allow Fadz to wind down.

Which out of Sheaf and Eccles would you drop? And who plays no 10?

None of those 3 would exactly be in demand, they’ll just run their contracts down.

I dunno, somebody will always want to take a chance on Palmer in the hope they can get him firing consistently.

Even if we stick with the flat back four LK, BT, KM, LB and JB is about right - it’s about the squad. It’s correct that midfield is where we need options An injury to any of Sheaf, Eccles or Allen leaves us light.

The Hamer replacement makes sense, that’s unanimously agreed I’m sure.

However two wingers is both exciting and possibly unnecessary?! Going to be left with three frustrated attacking players on the bench each week - and it’ll be a shame if two of them are ours. Obviously anyone who improves the team is a good signing, I’m just surprised at two.

I hope Binks stays and signs permanently too.

Early signs are promising!

Makes sense for us to ‘try before you buy’ a few wingers ahead of the summer window and the Hamer replacement is a complete non-starter and the number one priority.

Wingers are the sort you can find a tricky kid from the Prem academies and they’ll fit in without too much experience.

Will be interesting to see who gets the central striker role in that case.

It’s taken me about half an hour to realise LK & KM etc aren’t actually playing positions ffs
