Hope Robins isn’t planning on complaining about fixture buildup and player fatigue later in the season with this lineup today!

I think on a net basis there was pretty much no targeting of Tavares. Relative to his actual output he might be one of the most popular young players we’ve ever had.
Some posters seem to have to say something negative about him every time he is mentioned.

Not looking good about Wright. Maybe robins said he was fine so we wouldn’t panic before he got a replacement in.

I have little idea how good he is as I have hardly seen him play. I just don't get the targeting young players. And Robins wouldn't have extended his contract if he didn't rate him.

He’s the same age as Simms

What fixture build up???
We've had 5 days to prepare for this, and have another 7 days before the next game,
AND he's rested 3 players who've played the full 90 minutes in all our Christmas games
Wtf are you on about?

Robins has seen him a lot than any of us and clearly doesn’t think he’s up to it. It’s hardly targeting him, I’d be delighted to see Andrews get some minutes today.
You focus a lot on seemingly wanting certain players to be not good enough for us based on limited knowledge - and once you arrive at that conclusion always look at to slate that player for whatever they do after that. To the point where you seem happier when that player doesn't perform - according to your own judgement of course. You are not the only one - 3 or 4 on here.

It's not helpful to the team or anyone - just saying. I expect the usual abuse but beyond caring.

Is this game not being shown on iFollow at all? I've went on a quick trip to Germany, but no option to watch via Ifollow?

Guest speaker in the lounges. Looks fit as a fiddle, although I didn’t have a kick-about with him…

You've hardly been shown to be the best judge of player to be fair.

I'd rather he was good enough but he isn't; he's nearly 23 and has never consistently played league football, which says it all.

Hoping it's Palmer as a false nine with Simms off the left. He's right footed, would be a big chance for him. If him and Wright both click in that role, just start them both, rotate them between positions during the game. Would be a nightmare for defenders.

Very strong lineup which is a little unusual considering how many games we’ve had recently. But in all fairness Oxford are doing very well in League 1 and shouldn’t be taken lightly. We all know what happened last season. Hopefully we can get a comfortable lead and rest players as needed early enough to give a run out for the subs. But I think this could be closer than we think.
