I think as a half season loan signing, bearing in mind the Jan window is usually a little difficult, I actually agree. Think he'd be a decent option.

Eccles would get into a lot of other sides in this league, he's a decent player and just do not get the antipathy towards him. It's the same with most home grown players, they're given some weird handicap by the fans.

He’s a solid player and a consistent performer who is still young. But, he’s not really a match winner.

I still think the midfield (CM and wingers) is still the area we need to develop the most. We are team that likes to transition quickly and certainly miss a player who can initiate passes from deep.

I know people are suggesting another centre half , midfield cover etc , but has any of you taken a good hard look at Lats , as he covers so many positions & is quality. He hardly puts a foot wrong & at only 24 , we have signed another gem

Agreed, I really rate Lati. But, when you’ve got a player covering 3 positions, it’s too much. It only takes, for example; MVE, Thomas and Allen to get injured/suspended before we’re looking stretched.

In fact, if MVE and Thomas are both unavailable, who do we play where? See what I mean?
