If we were to get promoted, we'd have to beat teams better than the likes of Leeds to have a chance of staying there, so not that fussed who we play should we get to the playoffs.
If we got there, I'm not too fussed about staying there; 90+ % certain we'd be bottom 4. If it gives us financial stability/makes us stronger for the next few seasons, that'd be fine by me. Serious question from a fans point of view - would we enjoy being in the Pl, winning one game in seven or so, or being on the kind of run we're on in the division below? As a club, we will get stronger through promotion, but will experience a period of pain, as fans, in the process.

If anyone could find a way to keep us in the premier league, it’s Robins. I imagine it’ll be like our first season back in the championship

I don't want us to do a Derby though!

So if we can't beat Leeds, say, we don't deserve to go up.

It would set the club up financially and even if we came straight back down we'd make a good account of ourselves.

Leeds Preston getting a bit tasty towards the end. 1-1 and a couple of reds would do nicely.

Them pointing out Luke Humphries in the crowd and explaining his Dad called him Luke because it stands for "Leeds United Kings of Europe" is everything I hate about the Leeds fanbase.

Leeds are good but they are not that good.
You can frustrate them and get under their skin. They are an arrogant bunch that expect teams to fold. Very lucky to get the penalty.

I think the play offs will be Ipswich Leeds and then 2 from us, WBA, norwich, hull, watford

I dont think it will go further than that - and of those I only fear leeds

Did anyone see that cheating bastard Ivan Toney last night, v Forest, had a free kick just outside the penalty area, didn't just move the ball from where the referee marked the pitch he re drew the position on the pitch and moved the ball there so he could put the ball around the wall and score.

Think he had himself at 20/1 to score from a free kick

Need a Leicester win tonight - just to keep that 2nd place 'open' for us. Ipswich already stumbling, Leeds and Southampton to unfathomably implode (plus we've still got them all to wallop)

Surely that wouldn't have altered how the goalie set up the wall though!

Also what goes around comes around (even if its ancient history). I still remember Steve Hodge taking out our defensive wall to make room for a Stuart Pearce free kick in the League Cup semi final at the City Ground in an obviously pre-planned move, which cost us a place at Wembley.

Top play, the moving of the foam as well was just class.

Seems like Beale thought the problem with Sunderland was that they were afraid to shoot and too busy trying to walk it in. The results have been uhhhhhhhhhhh
