Isn't retirement age currently 66 and will be 67 in 2028?Er that’s not what you said - there are over a million employed over 65 and 68 is now the retirement age

Something like that I actually thought I was 67 when a year younger.Isn't retirement age currently 66 and will be 67 in 2028?
Bit of a bugger as I am 67 in 2028 & full retirement with state pension cannot come soon enough. I intend to retire sometime this year & live off 1 of my personal pensions.Something like that I actually thought I was 67 when a year younger.

gas has been generating power for a while now edf has six nuclear power plants out of commission for at least a month gas currently taking up the slack currently running at 60% I think.Gas in plentiful supply why are then putting up by five % when they had the last two years get that will be the power equivalent so electricity as well!
the extended video has the lady reach out to shake his hand as he is walking awayVideo looks bad but it's been cut short in a way that makes it look a lot worse than it actually was. This is not to say that Sunak is great, or has been stitched up, but just FYI

Well watch it again and you can see that he’s actually laughing at something said by someone behind the woman he’s talking to. I think that comes across as awkward, but I don’t think it’s as bad as openly laughing in that woman’s face, as the video was originally described when I first saw it.the extended video has the lady reach out to shake his hand as he is walking away
so it's nonsense to say it looks way worse than it was as the issue was laughing in someone with a valid issues face
There is for me!No there is no retirement age
I don't think the walking away is even the worst part of this. It's the fact that he is trying to blame it all on the doctors, as if he isn't actually in charge. He's only the Prime Minister after all. What is the point of voting for a party that is unable to make any of our public services work effectively?Well watch it again and you can see that he’s actually laughing at something said by someone behind the woman he’s talking to. Again, I’m not trying to say Sunak’s a masterful political communicator here, just pointing out when the editing and framing of a video can make something seem worse than it actually is.
Not one to usually talk politics, but had to say something about this.
Apparently their is a big thing going on via Twitter and other social using a hashtag of boycotting Pizza Hut. The reason why?
Apparently, a Pizza Hut location, in Jerusalem, is giving out free pizza to Israeli soldiers.
Give me strength; people really need to stop being such snowflakes.
The fact you’ve noticed means it’s probably starting to do what it intended to do.Not one to usually talk politics, but had to say something about this.

There’s also the Nike boycott over sports stars taking the knee.Boycotting has been an effective means to an end for as long as I can remember, the part it played in ending apartheid being an obvious example, so it's nothing to do with being snowflakes.
Didn't the MAGA lot boycott a beer in the US recently when it went 'woke'?

In this country certain elements have tried to organise boycotts of the national trust because it tells us too much/the wrong history of certain buildings and sites and the RNLI for saving the wrong people at sea.
It’s interesting that the people who organise/get behind these types of campaigns are usually the type to band about the snowflake tag.
I'm not sure it's driven by capitalism but like anything really it's something that capital will exploit if it is beneficial to do soWokeness.
Driven by capitalism
That's what Andrew Marr seems to be saying, purely driven to sell?.
Austerity...

I think it does give the Tories unnecessary leeway, they'd have done it anyway.Love Hannah Fry, a little too much TBH.
You'd get the calculator out wouldn't you ,of course could've had Brown continue, wonder if he'll get sued by the banks or demand the stimulus back?I think it does give the Tories unnecessary leeway, they'd have done it anyway.

He wants the best outcome for his bank balance…. Probably made a fortune off the back of her nonsense. So a man who campaigned for Truss to be PM is trying to oust Sunak. I wonder which genius in the Tory ranks he believes is a better option than Sunak. Not that Sunak is a good option, just the best option in the pool that the Tories find themselves swimming in.
Anyone got any thoughts on various senior military figures from NATO countries on prepping for conflict with Russia? Mentions of bolstering forces, recruitment issues, even conscription. Upon searching for the terms of being recalled as a regular reservists I was shocked to find a number of military communication networks have updated articles on the issue today…
It looks like NATO are fretting on Trump winning and pulling support. Russia will seemingly keep throwing bodies at Ukraine until they win a war of attrition. Fun times ahead.
Absolutely and I’ve no doubt at least 3 of those will pull out all the stops to get him over the line.If the likes of Iran/NK/Russia/China fancy a fight just after Trump is elected is probably the best time.

What a load of bollocks!Doubt they will need to. Even Gina Miller admitted today trump will win if he’s against Biden as he’s up against a senile zombie
