Simms playing well but terrible miss. Not sure MVE on the wing is a total success. Eccles outstanding cover and Sheaf coming into it as the half went on.
What are you on about?! MvE has got into good positions and consistently put in dangerous crosses against a top half Prem team

Really proud of the team there.

Yes, a few sloppy balls and losing possession, but no-one has been poor.

Sheaf has been our best player, but everyone else has done well and it shows that Palmer can't only do okay against lesser opposition.

He's not had a bad half at all and has played some lovely balls through.

More of the same please. Great effort from all.

I think we've played really well so far and deserve to have a couple of goals on the board, a couple of dodgy moments at the back but on the whole we should be ahead. Hope we can keep it going in the second half as the roof is ready to come off

Wright and Simms also oddly have looked better in this game together than most championship games

Think Palmer starting is at least in part because Robins has an eye on this game going beyond 90 minutes - neither Palmer nor O’Hare can go the distance but if you have to pick one who’d be on the pitch for extra time and penalties then it’s an obvious choice.

This game is really in the balance, it could go either way but I think we'll nick this and win 1-0

Well, I thought we'd get tonked so I'm very happy we've looked their equal so far. MVE & Sheaf playing well. Ait-Nouri looks so dangerous for them and when they get their one touch passing going in midfield they can slice through us.

MVE’s been better than I thought there. We’ve tried it there once before right, and the previous time it really didn’t work?
Really entertaining open game and we’re playing very well. Simms’ miss was atrocious but he’s having a very good game overall. Palmer’s final ball leaves a lot to be desired but he’s causing them problems - he’ll be spent soon, so have him go hell for leather for 10/15 and then bring on Torp - we could do with a set piece threat.

Latibeaudiere looks like the weak link but it feels like a game where you will need more than one goal to win it.
Largely agree, first 20 mins Lati looked rattled, but then seemed to settle and he’s been much better. He seems the least technically gifted player in the 11 today but has a bit of guts and desire about him.

“No guys you see actually the players he picks to start are the ones he *doesnt* rate”

The whole team have. Not sure if it’s the fact the pitch is a lot higher quality than most in the championship or that wolves are giving us some space l, but I feel this is the best we’ve played in a long time.

Could be really useful to bring in a fresh O'Hare second half.

I think you’ve missed the point. It’s not that Robins doesn’t rate Palmer - he clearly does. It’s about setting up for a game which might go 120 minutes.
