Im saying it’s a stupid moronic thing to ban an adult from using their season ticket if their kid is sick. If another club done it I’d say it’s stupid too. It makes the club look pathetic to be honest.

Adult being penalised through no real fault of their own.
If the child is sick then allow the adult in if he or she brings the child's ticket and also identification such as a driving licence.
Steward on the door to let them in manually . It's not difficult. It is common sense.

I agree with this if it is just in regard to the discounted family stand issue. As a general statement and should this be used as a testing phase for a wider plan should we get promoted I couldn't disagree more

My group have essentially always said we will buy a ST for life, regardless of how many games we can make as we want to financially support the club (we have done so through very trying times). Half of us are in the age bracket where we have had kids/having second kids etc and it becomes much more difficult to attend as we have responsibilities at home. Ironically, midweeks are much easier for us than weekends, so this latest season was probably my best attended in the 10 years or so of being a ST holder.

It's insanity to me that I may be punished for not having turned up to 50% of games of our most successful period when I have supported the club and missed 50% of games in League 2 because I believed in supporting the club financially then, like I do now. If King (or anyone else, and at this moment it hasn't been suggested, yet) that he can enforce a 50% attendance should we get promoted at any stage, he can quite kindly get fucked.

The FZ was sold out last year so this is kind of the point… replace people who don’t go very often with ones who will. The club isn’t losing any money.

It’s an entirely different situation for standard season tickets compared with the hugely discounted Family Zone ones. There would be genuine uproar if they tried. To attach the FZ conditions to standard STs.

where have you seen that, I haven't seen the full conditions published? Would say more likely you can't place a single ticket on the exchange, it would be unsaleable, and you can't leave a childless adult, or something along similar lines

That's where the club are making a huge mistake in not publishing the full details allowing rumour and speculation to run rife.

You would think the T&Cs and scenarios are already thought through, as it would be foolish to set something live then work the detail…..?!

The whole situation is a mess, school of thought is an adult who has 2 children ST has to put all 3 tickets to exchange if 1 child can’t attend - surely garbage as this would be mental , but again because the lack of clarity rumours build.

Yeah that’s just not right. They haven’t found the balance right on this one. I think people will just have to ignore the rules because it will be impossible to police especially if it’s busy.

I feel it's time surely now for the club to publish all the terms and conditions...our group, and others I have spoken with all waiting for the release of full conditions so we can make the correct choice for our own individual circumstances.

it sounds like the club is just making it up as they go along. surely they can't be so short sighted and have pre-empted all the main scenarios that could exist?

If adult season ticket holders in the FZ were paying the same as in other areas, there surely wouldn't be such an issue about the child ticket holders not attending games here and there. Would those adults with tickets in the FZ be happy with that?

Those people are perfectly able to buy outside the FZ right now so presumably not.

That should have been the case from the start. I don't really see any reason someone should get a cheaper ticket because they're taking a kid with them.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was considered but they decided people would kick off at a big price increase after the response last year. Obviously they weren't counting on people inventing 1,001 hypothetical scenarios or the children of Coventry being in such bad health they're likely to miss 10+ games a season through sickness.

To be fair it’s good for the future of the club to get as many younger fans on board as possible.
