Im guessing Stamenic and Sanches yes but not Ntelo it’ll be something out of the blue like Maxim Leitsch (not saying its him just plucked a random player from a league we’ve scouted in a position we need)

I’d be stunned if we announced 2-3 players in a week and none of them were free transfers. I’m saying Stamenic and a freebie.

Just read an article in the Times about how many defenders does a team need and still win a football match. Apparently the architects of the great Ajax teams decided three and Pep agrees with them. Perhaps that is why we appear to be chasing midfielders, although Stamenic has played as a central defender.
