Keeper’s entitled to go for it, but Hanley shoves him in that direction.Don't feel like the keepers done much wrong

I don't know that he gave up to be honest, but he definitely tried to turn the defender, which was a really daft thing to do, as he seemed favourite to get there firstScotland have absolutely stunk the place out. Dire team and deservedly going home.
Never a pen for me either. Armstrong basically gave up trying to score and just looked for the pen instead.

Really is a pathetic showing. Hungary really aren’t a very good team at all, to not even be able to offer any sort of attacking threat in a must win game against them is absolutely dire.Shots on Target:
vs Germany: 0
vs Switzerland: 3
vs Hungary (must win game): 0
Combined xG: 0.9
This combined with the specific type of posture he displayed afterwards is a real concern
Hanley pushing him into the keeper.
Could well be a serious neck injury the way the keeper was flying the opposite way.

Any good news at all is welcome here
Got the President playing for them at well haven't they?“But..but Hungary have 4 million more people”
Thank fuuuuuuuck I was worried about possibilities beyond that tbh...Hungarian FA have announced that he's in a stable condition.
Rent free.Scotland fans are busy as fuck now learning the words to the Slovenia national anthem.
Sad cunts.
I am a Scotland supporter and tbh I never expected we would qualify, basically a Championship standard of player representing Scotland these days...with the exception of John McGinn who I think is a terrific midfielder.Gutting if you’re a Scotland fan.
I’m not, but I wanted them to go through, and I feel gutted for them. Heartbreaking if you’re actually a fan.
Classy.
Classy.
Yeah, mad wasn't it. I have no idea why he did that.Pen call was weird, looked like Armstrong almost jumped into defender as he tried to get across him. Didn’t need to, just shield ball/do a vardy and he’d probably have got the pen or a shot off

Never, ever a penalty.
McGinn, McTominay and Robinson are the 3 players whose premier league experience puts them ahead of there teammates, I think McGinn and Robinson have disappointed with only McTominay coming out with any credit.I am a Scotland supporter and tbh I never expected we would qualify, basically a Championship standard of player representing Scotland these days...with the exception of John McGinn who I think is a terrific midfielder.
Good luck to England moving forward,I genuinely hope they do well.
*Robertson had been disappointing overall, thought McGinn was very good last night to be fair.McGinn, McTominay and Robinson are the 3 players whose premier league experience puts them ahead of there teammates, I think McGinn and Robinson have disappointed with only McTominay coming out with any credit.

I do find the vitriol on this thread towards Scots a bit odd considering we live in a City with a significant proportion of people of Scottish descent like myself..plus of course a large number of Irish, west Indian and Indian sub continent descent.
I shall be hoping England find the improvement required to progress further in the competition and that Ireland's gift to England (Kane) finds his scoring boots.
#PUSB.
Penalty and a Red card should of been the call.100% a penalty for me. Armstrong was played in, so he was in possession of the ball and has every right to shield it from the defender, in fact, that’s good striker play. It’s for the defender to find a legitimate way to block. His leg hits his calf and he goes down, maybe easily but it’s a penalty all day. If that’s Kane we’d all scream penalty!
It's ridiculous the leeway that keepers get. As you say, any other player makes an out of control challenge, even if they get the ball, and they're off. But touch the keeper and it's a foul!If it was a defender flying through the air like that it would be a foul.
The defender looks to nudge him into the keeper who's flying out.
Was more of a pen than anything else.
He's not entitled to shield the ball from the defender by putting his arm across his chest and pushing him backwards. The first offence was obstruction. Would have been easier to score, though admittedly not as clear-cut a chance as that clown Petkovic for Croatia v Spain, which was an utter comedy of errors (and never a pen - no contact whatsoever).
Fuck 'em - that game was Sunday league at best, and Scotland can't even claim to have one or two players, in an otherwise poor team, who would grace the world stage like they have in times past (Hansen, Strachan, Macallister, et al).
There's a difference between challenging for the ball and sprinting out of your goal and leaping into players. I think he committed quite a few of these offences! -If the keeper had just stood on his line and let the attacker score everyone would be saying why didn't he come out and clear it, I don't think he was out of control, it was certainly no Schumacher on Battiston challenge.

MaybeFair enough. I can see your point of view. For me, it’s a foul and a pen. I’d even predict if that exact challenge happens outside of the box, refs would give it.
