It's not pessimism, it's just that people who work hard get pretty pissed off when they're told to work harder.

Also most people on here want a social democracy ie a mix of socialist and capitalist policies. The government in my view should be in charge of healthcare, education, policing, the military etc. I don’t need it to run KFC.
