I wish Godden well but the Championship was a league too far for him, the mobility and pace you need at this level meant he was always going to be a back up or cup player for us. Teams at the top end of the league cant afford players that only operate from 25yards out also didn't think he was physically big enough to operate on his own. I'm not saying its him, but I don't get why BTA couldn't have been training with WBA in the morning and then had a medical with us in the afternoon. It's not exactly a million miles away is it?

That Tsingaras geezer looks like a right snip at £1.2 mil if you go by what transfermarket states (obviously it’s usually wrong but anyway). Cheick Conde too, looks pretty decent, would be great additions to the squad.
