My 17 yr old had season ticket since he was 4. Had this email request to prove his age today:

Good Afternoon,

We are currently conducting checks and updating all accounts, are you able to provide proof of age so we can make sure the date of birth on the account is correct please?

This can be done at the ticket office in person or a picture response to this email (passport, birth certificate or driver licence). Please note we do not keep copies on files and emails will be deleted once notes have been added to the account.

Please note, the season ticket will not be posted/activated until we have seen this.

Thank you.

If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Anyone else had one?

Yep, same for my grandson a few weeks back. Glad they're checking and now they have his details it should hopefully help them to automate the right categories going forwards?

I had a similar request last week to prove my daughter’s age; Interestingly they have changed the wording completely in the email above, to the one I received. Not sure it’s as a consequence of my (or others) email exchange/conversations but if it has been, then good they have taken some feedback onboard!

as an aside, I found the TO team to be really responsive and helpful on this 👍

Haha just had my email for proof of age. Turned 70 and had a season ticket for longer than I care to remember.😂
Know where my driving license is though, cos I had to get a new one when I was 70.😉

The way I'm looking at is, on andailail off I've been up for eons, introduced an offspring who has, who hss also produced her died in wool fan,and contributed thousands and I don't like it one bit, why does some organisation think it's even right to demand this cos some tit has abused the system, catch them and leave us out of it or don't get your ticket emailed out which the same as last year!

I don't get it, what's the issue with giving them proof of age?

But, that would take 90 minutes. The ticket office should be able to provide a secure way to send such information. I am still awaiting a reply. I don’t think they have thought this through properly.
