Well the collapse in talks was reported by Andy Turner yesterday ….
Yeah I saw that but I didn’t see anything about Sheffield pushing forward with a deal, seems like he’s going there if that’s true.

We wanted Jesse Bosch last summer, didn't we? Wonder if that will be a goer this summer?

Midfielder/attacker ex Cambridge. Turned them down new deal
Rb ex Cambridge, released this year or walked away like Yearn?
Broad - young gk from Chatham?

Close.

Kai Yearn
Greg Sandiford
Harvey Broad
My attention is always piqued when there’s potentially new youth players coming in:

Any ideas if these three could make the grade, mate?

Not sure if you're asking me or not but I have a close affiliation to Cambridge due to uni housemate and a very successful FM game. This kai yearn lad was touted to be their next big superstar, made his debut at 16-17. He was announced to be leaving this year and all their fans were up in arms about it asking why they hadn't offered him a deal and the club would regret it. The rumour is he turned them down and considering he's had a trial at stoke and now Cov suggests he thinks he can do better than Cambridge.

As the guy above says, out of the 3 he's the most interesting and he's the sort of player if you're scouting lower league gems, you take on

Do you know what position he plays?

I know I said it last week but Keeper and Striker hopefully announced this week

Keeper is Dovin, ST unsure but I've been told its not BTA

Do you think Dovin is close to being announced then over next few days? I know you mentioned talks had progressed to the next stage but wondered if that was nearly complete.

The striker not being BTA makes sense to me. I cant see why WBA would part with him given that they already have limited options.

I read somewhere recently that Oxford were trying to get Ali Al-Hamadi in on loan from Ipswich. My feeling is that maybe now Ipswich have got promoted, he may be surplus to their immediate requirements and be prepared to let him go out on loan. He could be good for us if so.
