Nothing like this but my daughter (14) has had some issues with her ex not letting go and moving on. Thankfully her new bf is considerable harder than her old one so he wouldn’t dare do anything. But concerning how there’s been no support for her, in fact she’s got in trouble for telling him to back off or getting her bf to. For me it’s the first signs of a young man who needs serious reeducation in how to deal with relationships but there’s nothing in place to do that.

I think all you can do is more intervention once someone shows signs. But having been on the end of a false abuse claim I’m also weary about handing people more power to mess with their ex’s life.

How much do you even know? I doubt he’s going home telling Mum he threatened to hit his ex today.

Even mates it’s hard to know sometimes. All you can really do is trust women but then women are human and also take breakups badly and want to hurt their ex in other, less physical ways.

What do you mean her new boyfriend is " harder" . Is he going to put the frighteners on the old boyfriend ? Sounds like a quick fix but might make things worse .
As for her getting no support , that comes from family surely ? Or is this something at school ?
I don't mean to sound unsympathetic but stuff like this is a hornets nest .
