My post above about Rangers is probably more realistic....and sounds like it was really one of the only other offers!?...
He’s been advised really badly. Although I think Robins had realised a while ago hence this formation change. Where would he fit in this 433?

A calm and measured response.🤣
FYI re signing on fee - from someone who apparently "doesn't get much wrong" - but as with everything, believe what you will.👍

Offered to buy him a house in Glasgow, its just gets better and better

If this is the best O'Hare can manage and Hamer is still there at the deadline they both need to be looking for new agents

Face facts with Kjng in charge we can’t afford the likes of Hamer and O’Hare
Wtf are you bitching about?
Sheffield utd were Premier league a couple of months ago, we've come from division 2 through div 1 to where we are today.
The fact that we can expect to compete for a top 6 place with Sheff utd is purely down to D.King and MR.

Hamer looks more than likely to leave before the season starts. And so what if they've signed O'hare

We've signed Rudoni, EMC, Raphael, and we've got Torp, Sheaf, Wright, Eccles, Sakamoto, Palmer and Alan, I'd say our midfield is way stronger than theirs.

How many of their players would get in our starting 11 ?

We were after stamenic so it’s clear we want another marquee addition as well, our midfield depth would be ridiculous

Swear it was his hammy the pre season one
Could be but he was out for quite some time but then DK. Came in and stopped the ‘we sell for peanuts’ budgeting system.
Would have been nice to have got a fee but he came on free, gave us some good memories. Hope he shines in a really shit team and they struggle to avoid a double relegation.🤭

It’s no secret there were choice words between MR and COH towards the end of the season.

Robins knew COH was off and came up with contingency plan (formation change and Rudoni)

then the talks for COH stallled and we made the offer to him.

Robins realised we were moving away from him and was reluctant to budge, hence the offer not at top earner and the timeframe to sign.

its probably best for all parties that we both go our separate ways now

Sometimes a big character in a dressing room can become too big . Look at United with Roy Keane and Beckham.
Just watching the recent videos recently it seems the squad is coming together nicely. Binks was already a part of it but Rudoni and Rodrigues look lively personalities and EMC seems hard working and happy to be a part of it .

I think Robins has played it right.

your top earners should be those you know you will start every game and hardly ever rotate: the likes of Haji, Simms, Sheaf, MVE.

Say we had signed Rudoni, and had the chance to resign COH on £25k a week. You are either benching Rudoni to play COH as a 10, as you can’t play Rudoni sitting next to sheaf or you are playing them both out of position.

After signing Rudoni there was no way we would ever pay Cal top dollar.
It’s clear Rudoni has been in the pipeline a couple months before the seasons ended, and that probably gives an indication how long Robins has known cals been off.

Experts analysts have said Rudoni is the most natural replacement for CoH and a Premiership player in the making. He’s younger and has more upside.

No bitterness from me. It’s a short career. If someone offered me 3 times the money or more to go to an industry competitor to do the same job I’d bite their hands off. Especially if I knew my career could end any day due to injury.

It’s a career at the end of the day, got to get paid as much as possible really

Agreed, the fact that former first team regulars like Palmer and Allen are going to struggle to get on the bench shows how we are still improving.

And signing a young Swedish international keeper shows great ambition.
