Really?! Top priority? Not really, it's our number 1 priority.

Yes, because both our current options are fucking uselessReally?! Top priority?

Is that a reflection on our goalkeeping coach?Yeah, been saying for a while and provided quotes from Clough and Ferguson on the importance of having a top keeper.
It's been a continuous issue for us for large spells since Robins returned and every time it looks like we might have sorted it the incumbent goes to shit.

I’ve played quicker games of Monopoly!!!is this the longest drawn out transfer ever?.
We announced Binks at 7 and Rudoni at 8 tbfIt’s 5 already, doubt they announce it today.
Goodbye post he made not long after my comment. Hahn to Hammarby and Dovin to Cov like I said.

Rotherham had a top keeper, still went down by 20 odd points. Granted we can’t have a keeper who enjoys throwing it in his own goal but we’re still lacking strength in depth in a number of outfield positions.Yeah, been saying for a while and provided quotes from Clough and Ferguson on the importance of having a top keeper.

I mean I’d argue we only lack depth at RB and striker. A goalkeeper was priorityRotherham had a top keeper, still went down by 20 odd points. Granted we can’t have a keeper who enjoys throwing it in his own goal but we’re still lacking strength in depth in a number of outfield positions.
We lack it at left back, right back, striker, could use another CM and right footed CB also.I mean I’d argue we only lack depth at RB and striker. A goalkeeper was priority
Absurd thing to say about the position with the single biggest influence and responsibility for preventing goals being conceded.you don't need a top keeper and the cost/benefit isn't as beneficial as other positions
And all of those are a priority over a decent keeper? We have 2 left backs and 5 cm’sWe lack it at left back, right back, striker, could use another CM and right footed CB also.
Yes but the rest of their side was shitRotherham had a top keeper, still went down by 20 odd points. Granted we can’t have a keeper who enjoys throwing it in his own goal but we’re still lacking strength in depth in a number of outfield positions.
We have one CDM. Midfield isn’t one position. And all of those are a priority over a decent keeper? We have 2 left backs and 5 cm’s
Not really. Spain won the Euros, I had to look up who their keeper was. Man City won the Prem, Ederson is not the best keeper in the league. Real Madrid won the CL with a backup playing for most of it.Absurd thing to say about the position with the single biggest influence and responsibility for preventing goals being conceded.
I agree you don’t need a top keeper but you need a competent oneNot really. Spain won the Euros, I had to look up who their keeper was. Man City won the Prem, Ederson is not the best keeper in the league. Real Madrid won the CL with a backup playing for most of it.
The idea that you need a top keeper to succeed is a myth.
Any one you're naming in particular? The expectations of some re signings is absurd.
No but one who should never be placed in charge of budgeting springs to mind.Any one you're naming in particular?
They've now lost the scorers of 63 of the 68 goals they scored last season.Hull probably got a bit of money to spend now, but bloody hell, they actually have no one left.

Keepers also get more chance to look good playing for Rotherham, of course.Don't disagree we're lacking elsewhere but for me, keeper is a priority.
And prime Buffon in goal wouldn't have kept Rotherham up.
You cannot go into a season with that statistic hanging over you and expect to have a good one.To me I feel they will take so long to get used to their new possible scorers ways of playing the top half will be out of sight. They've now lost the scorers of 63 of the 68 goals they scored last season.
Not just that - they play a thing called Tim ball or whatever it's called. It relies on being super fit and all out attack. They've lost most of their decent players, and any new/decent players will have to a) get used to the new system and b) get fit enough to play it (by all accounts it is an extreme style) &he other issue for them is that I assume Tim Walter's teams haven't had to play 50 odd matches (as per the Championship) so the Hull players my implode during the season - plus if it starts poorly, the mad owner may ditch him before it has any chance to succeed. You cannot go into a season with that statistic hanging over you and expect to have a good one.To me I feel they will take so long to get used to their new possible scorers ways of playing the top half will be out of sight.
Watch them prove me wrong now.
