Another new signing with a quintuple barrelled surname lol ?SHFWF
Buy (edit) him fucking back. We do what we want!
This is clearly true but I wonder how much they still owe us of the original fee plus we would get 1.5m of that back from the sell on clause. I don't know why I am saying this coz it's not happening...Would be Great, but Sheff United world probably want £15m.
And now you're going to believe usAnd now you're going to believe us
And now you're going to believe us

Sorry that's reminds too much of what's his name again!Vik to move in the next 2 weeks and we finish the transfer window with a marquee CM signing
Not sure on the media making out as though it was hijacked. As I said from the beginning, it's been a long time coming. A lot of time and effort has gone into securing him. Stand by what I said, think it's a good signing, shows intent and pushes us toward our goals of a more rotational squad. Good business.
He wouldn’t because he’s not being brought in be our number one striker. Scoring 11 goals last season shows he’s good enough to contribute. Compared to Obikwu who scored 3 in 16 at L2 level (and needs a loan to continue his development).I said it was a decent signing. Just not sure he has the upside some of our others do, and it won’t be an insignificant fee. But that’s fine if it gets us promoted.
He was due to go to Hull so we kind of have hijacked itNot sure on the media making out as though it was hijacked. As I said from the beginning, it's been a long time coming. WBA may have accepted a bid from Hull, but the player himself has to want to go and agree personal terms. We've been talking to him for a long time now, I don't believe Hull was ever in his mind. Goes to show that creating good relationships with potential signings can give you the edge when it comes to the business being done. Recruitment team doing a great job imo.He was due to go to Hull so we kind of have hijacked it
Would be funny as fuck if Obikwu went to Hull as a loan playerHe wouldn’t because he’s not being brought in be our number one striker. Scoring 11 goals last season shows he’s good enough to contribute. Compared to Obikwu who scored 3 in 16 at L2 level (and needs a loan to continue his development).
Or WBAWould be funny as fuck if Obikwu went to Hull as a loan player
I’ve heard Lesta are interested if we sub half the wagesOr WBA

Use Vik money to resign Gus?
Yeah but he loves us and we have Samoan Joes lifetime pass to offer him on topI think Hamer will want Prem or abroad with European football.
Just feels expensive @£2-3m.He wouldn’t because he’s not being brought in be our number one striker. Scoring 11 goals last season shows he’s good enough to contribute. Compared to Obikwu who scored 3 in 16 at L2 level (and needs a loan to continue his development).
Got to be double-barrell first names from now on.Another new signing with a quintuple barrelled surname lol ?

A striker who’s 25 years old and scored 12 goals in 39 games last season, which is what.. 1 in 3?Just feels expensive @£2-3m.
@BlueSkiesForever what are your thoughts on this signing?
Got to be worth asking the question though. Probably doesn't fit the model for us at 27... but it would be hilarious seeing the Sheffield United fans react.I think Hamer will want Prem or abroad with European football.
Don't you think we need someone like Gerd Muller but slightly less stats?I don’t want to go over board and say it’s the best signing ever but I think his experience of the league and the pace he’s got is very good at this level, particularly when you consider Simms is our main striker, having him as backup/alternate would be brilliant in my humble opinion.
Simms was £3.5m + add ons, not 8. Wright was £7.7mWell, there are people thinking Sakamoto is starting ahead of EMC (£4.25m), Simms (£8m) or Wright (£9m)…
Joking aside, £2-3m for a sub striker who’s 25 with a good record at Championship level is a bargain. You’d easily spend that on a top end L1 player. We’ve also weakened WBA in the process. Simms nor Wright will have breathing space if they struggle for form whereas last season, their competition was Godden - who scored 1 league goal after September.
