What we saw earlier in the week were riots. The four, whatever their intentions and at this point we don't know, are entitled to peaceful protest and most on here would normally defend anyone's right to protest. Now I am of course playing devil's advocate and I suspect we can guess their intentions and in greater numbers likely would have behaved poorly, but the question is one of debate as violence from the counter protest groups would have been equally wrong.
So my question I guess is if they or anyone else has genuine concerns on immigration or feel riled up at recent events, shouldnt they be debated, told why they're wrong, but don't suppress their right to protest which is what's happened now imo. That will push things more underground, encourage more division and build what could in another time be a peaceful protest into something much worse.
