Sky news saying "the number of far right protestors we have been told" haven't turned up.

How many were they expecting for riots? Be interesting to know what they "thought" was going to happen.

If they thought there was going to be tens of thousands across the country out for a riot, they would have seen chatter saying "abort, abort".
Probably all a left wing plot.

What we saw earlier in the week were riots. The four, whatever their intentions and at this point we don't know, are entitled to peaceful protest and most on here would normally defend anyone's right to protest. Now I am of course playing devil's advocate and I suspect we can guess their intentions and in greater numbers likely would have behaved poorly, but the question is one of debate as violence from the counter protest groups would have been equally wrong.

So my question I guess is if they or anyone else has genuine concerns on immigration or feel riled up at recent events, shouldnt they be debated, told why they're wrong, but don't suppress their right to protest which is what's happened now imo. That will push things more underground, encourage more division and build what could in another time be a peaceful protest into something much worse.

Really? The fact it was needed in the first place is wrong, but everyone patting eachother on the back as if they've won some kind of battle is a little nauseating.

I feel good about it because they showed up and made the racists look very weak & stupid, without (as far as I know) doing any damage to anyone or anything. I’d rather they weren’t there at all, but I don’t see it as a ‘battle’, more like a reaction, and as far as reactions go I appreciated seeing people protesting something without acting like animals

I've just seen on telegram Mike Tyson wants to scrap me at 7am tomorrow.

I'll report back when he doesn't turn up about my victory. 🤣

It was pretty obvious throughout the day that there wasn't going to be hundreds of thousands of skin heads taking over the streets. (Which is a good thing).

Its all very strange.

Pretty much this, the anti fash turned up in far greater numbers than the fash did over the weekend and did so with minimum trouble.

Shows that the far right are a tiny % of people in the country and everyone else hates them.

Said it the other day, feels like COVID all over again.

People are literally congratulating each other for fighting off people who were never actually going anywhere and I don't think actually exist in the numbers made out with the organisation skills that were said. (I know racists exist but not thousands of highly organised neo Nazis).

Amazing isn’t it. To me it seems they just want any excuse to cause criminal damage because that’s how you show people if you have concerns.

I mean for fucks sake… we saw people wanting to burn hotels down all the way to people looting Greggs for Steak Bakes.

Literally they are just scummy little shit bags who are no hopers in life! You can’t hold an intelligent conversation with them and you can’t reason with them. They are the low life of society.

Everybody have a look who is missing in a couple weeks

In that case shouldn't we ban all other criminals? It's a slippery slope. Most of this board are all rehabilitation and give them a second chance. Can't pick and choose who that's for because you don't like their particular crime. If it's not football related and not a football banning order this shouldn't be allowed to happen whatever you think of them. I could be sat next to a paedo (I'm in the family section so I hope not) but he would be allowed to continue supporting his team.

*edit: also why football again? Can he go to the cricket? Rugby? A pop concert? Just football because despite it being our national sport loved by millions, apparently we're all cunts.

Totally agree, all of the people arrested are little gimps wanting to kick off. I don't doubt racist views. It got more and more obvious with sky news having some gimp who tried to throw a brick at the police and missed and another who didn't know left and right wing.

It wasn't some organised network that can ship skin heads around the country.

Today doesn't make any sense.

Just to confirm, is that anybodys concerns swept under the carpet now? 🤣
More fool them. Guaranteed that the far right has added members/strengthened in the last few days. They'll be picking up malcontents, becoming better organized etc. It's not a return to the days of when you used to see people openly selling the National Front newspaper outside football grounds Inc Highfield road. Extremism of any sort doesn't need big numbers to be threat. 2 people have shut down Vienna tonight.

What's happened in Vienna tonight?

I thought it was that concerts were cancelled?

I might be being naive but I'm not sure there is a big army of skinheads in a uniform organised and ready to deploy? There's plenty of cunts with horrible views though who kick off thinking they can.

Ban convicted drug dealers from going within 100 metres of schools or pubs? Ban anyone who says something offensive on a website from the whole internet? House breakers from streets with houses in? Seems to me the civil liberties brigades should have a field day with banning non-football related criminals from football grounds

Concerts cancelled because of suspicions of 2 radical Muslims being involved in a planned terrorist attack on Taylor Swift concerts. My adopted daughter lives in Vienna and had tickets. She's just had a text saying concerts cancelled and money will be refunded. saying extra police out on the streets tonight as they can't find all the suspected terrorists.

Weird even?
Put the conspiracy away

So the spat with Musk was a set up as well, or the general direction of travel re a desire to curb as such?
Not Curby btw!
