Why don't you name an area specifically where this is the case .
What is so controversial about saying that in areas with high knife crime you don’t search solely based on race? Genuinely what message does that send to those communities as a whole? It is quite literally a racist policy to discriminate just on race.

What do you mean by" black " specifically ? You keep referring to " black" people . Are you talking about those of African origin ? Are you including those from many parts of Asia, mixed race people or simply " black" , whatever that means?

If a police officer is out on patrol in a specific area of New Cross where there is , for argument sake, a 60% population of non white people and he sees two white youths who appear a bit out of place on that evening should he go out of his way to specifically target them because they are white or should he stop and search 6 people who are non white and four who are white because that reflects the demographic ?

If it's an area almost entirely white, or an area almost entirely non white, what's the issue there ?

I am saying to not make race the basis on which you carry out your stop and search in whichever high knife crime area you choose. Because, and I can’t believe it needs restating yet again, it’s literally racist.

Don’t forget certain types of people are predisposed to certain types of crime though. It’s in writing on this forum still.

Its always going to play a part in certain areas though isn't it?

That's why I used a random place in Yorkshire, if knife crime is 80% white people but 90% of stop and search is non white people then there's an issue.

Not saying solely race, police will have gut feelings as well and will know their areas. I don't think there should be any sort of quota or anything but it will naturally be different depending on different areas.

If a police officer is out on patrol and there are 50 people on the street and of those 40 people are pink and 10 are orange and he decides to randomly search 5 of them then the chances are he will check more pink than orange . Is that wrong ?

Are we ignoring the MET police are institutionally racist follow a verified report or does that not count. Stuff like that doesn’t matter unless it suits?

Crack on though.

If you can explain what your LSD flashback has to do with a complex situation involving race and decades of discrimination, this might be worth answering.

The point being made that in London, knife murders and attacks are disproportionately higher in the black community so naturally stop and searches would be higher, isn't it? (Higher. Not exclusively)

Aside from race specifically, you also asserted that all refugees arriving on boats were better dressed than you’ve ever been, and all demanded & were given Netflix, a 55 inch TV, smartphones and designer jackets as soon as they landed.
I don't recall saying they were given designer jackets as soon as they landed. They are certainly dressed better than me , that's for sure .
