Because they haven’t got a fucking clue what they are doing when they actually have to make a decision that won’t be rectified by VAR if it is wrong.

The problem is you get these prem refs who are usually supported by var so they forget they are not having their mistakes sorted out

The linesman on that side was one of the worst officials I have ever seen. He was constantly behind play and almost never level with the last man, so missed multiple offsides.

We were bang in-line with this incident - and the linesman was looking directly at it - absolutely useless officiating.
Strangely he managed to give a free kick against Rudoni for absolutely nothing.

Said about this last night but didn't realise how blatant.

The lino was right next to it and he flagged random stuff every time.

Not even a foul given.

Wow, that's shockingly bad, I'd be surprised if that's not acted upon by the football league.

If the officials ignored it, they need to be pulled up on it.

If they missed it, then retrospective action is needed.

Godden got retrospective action for diving to win a penalty, so this should receive the same action.

Because the ref and officials are genuinely a bunch of cunts. The quicker an official gets held accountable for their performance, the quicker the "standard" gets improved.

"rEsPeCt ThE rEf" ... no how about the refs respect the rules.

The officials were appalling last night. N they got paid ffs .

The ref was really poor last night.
The free kick given against Torp which resulted in their first goal was a joke.

The guy was trying to mug Torp for his shirt ffs.

I remember seeing this in the moment and being absolutely baffled why the linesman didn’t give it!

It’s been mentioned but I’d also be keen to see what happened with Lati second half too, it was definitely off the ball and our players weren’t happy.

Most frustrating thing is nothing will be done about it. No accountability for being shit at your job.

I get that these days it's a fast game and officials will miss stuff and mistakes will be made. What gets me is how regularly there's things that every person in the ground can see but the officials.

It gets to the point you start doubting yourself but then you see it back and it confirms what you saw with your own eyes. How does such obvious stuff get missed week in, week out.

Can’t the footage be sent to EFL for fines and/or retroactive suspensions?

The only way I can see is that they interpreted it it was just coming together and if MVE was active in the offence stakes, that is to say if he was guilty of any misdemeanor stake's in trying to halt his body and the peroxide Pratt's body also, that's how they would defend the officials, can't clearly tell from that footage though,it looks like he's just standing the guy up but we don't know that?

You see the Oxford player try to punch and then elbow MVE. There’s no other way to interpret it.

What does this even mean 🤔
A bit of a suggestion that he's of the opinion that Otis ,a, bit like Tony and others such as Pva shouldn't post or a bit woke for his liking I assume? Or that Otis is apt to saying wait for the evidence?

Yup, exactly.

It's a nonsense though of course. 😂

I watched the game on Sky on Friday, but like so many others, couldn't exactly see what happened at the time.

As soon as the close-up footage has been posted up now though, and you can see what happened very clearly, then of course, it seems like a very apt time to comment.

My apologies for living a normal, rational, reasoned life. 🤪

Looking forward to pasting Oxford in the cup again.
